I see dots everytime that i hit the space bar, and arrows everytime I "Tab"... IT IS NOT THE PARAGRAPH BUTTON! (P with lines through it) I already tried that several times... The characters that i mentioned do not print but they are annoying! Help...

In WORD on the top tool bar
find the SHOW/HIDE button
It looks like a backware P.
If you don't see it, click the little side arrow
at the end of the tool bar
and find it in the "unseen" buttons.
The Show/Hide button shows or hides the dots, etc for punctuaiton tracking, and correct, these do not print.
Clicking the show/hide button "shows" or "hides" these characters.

there is an option for this. In microsoft word go to the top there should be a button that looks like the paragraph symbol click on it and this should all go away.

Hi. In the setup somewhere is a checkbox for these effects. They are meant to help but I agree, they are annoying.

You have a runner with your tabs possibily. Go to Format menu, then select tabs and see if "....." is selected.
