Sex is dangerous, smoking is dangerous, drinking is frowned on, paedophiles are everywhere, bombs/anthrax/bird flu are all around, gatherings of more than 3 people are technically illegal, you can't have a religion without being made to feel guilty, you can't even have a decent fight without 'anger management' counselling, you can't have firework fights, you can't shoot each other with gat guns, you can't ride a bike without body armour, pets give you asthma and if you ever feel anything above the neck you get prozac. What kind of a life is this you young ones are getting?

Well, that just harshed my mellow. I don't smoke, I don't drink, and I am a virgin. I don't care what people think about my religion or anything else. What are firework fights? I can fight if I want to. Therapy helps no one. I am not on Prozac, and you are making me depressed. What about you? I'm sure things weren't just peaches and cream when you were young all the time. Every generation has its own problems. You can't just say we are the only generation that has had war, or drugs, or alcohol. That wouldn't make any sense.

Did you ever have fireworks fights, cause that sounds dangerous no matter what age you are. And for all those other cause's of concern, the odds are really against you but the news (poison of our generation) hypes it all up to get ratings. Remember Acid rain, Killer Africanized Bees, SARS. They all really exist but they will probably only affect 1% of the population. The News isn't newsworthy anymore and our generation already knows that. By the way there are tons of virgins answering this question......sweet. No one likes whores or male sluts

Nothing's new. Every generation gets it worse than the last. That's why there's so much adolescent rebellion. Shame everyone gives up fighting in their mid twenties and settles for the routine- this way the wortld will never change!
Oh! And you forgot to mention Global Warming, Nuclear War Threats, and a Capatilist Regime where short-term gratification is the goal.

What age group do you mean? Heck at 27 there is a lot to worry about. I really do worry about being able to make it. If I can't afford, to then what? Find a magic wand?

You make good points all the way round. And what good does all that counseling and control do.... not a whit.

I can only imagine how it will be in another twenty years.

"its a hard knock life for us." As long as you are a good person and don't do anything wrong and go to a good school, life is ok as a young person. As for me, i am not having sex until after i'm married and i am having my partner be a virgin until then too.
