should I get on medication for this or not? I've had lots of people say No, that medication 4 these things is just drugging you up and keeping you from who you really are. But I am to the point where nothing else has fully worked for me, and I can't seem to get back to the way I was. The doctor said I should get on medication for it, I'm just worried it won't work and I will be even worse or something, what do you think? Has it worked for you or anyone you know???

My cat keeps scratching the sofa but not the scratching post! She doesn't even touch the post but she always scratches the sofa. If I put catnip on the post she just snifs it for a minute or two and walks away! If I show her she won't listen. What should I do to get her to scratch the darn post!

I need help for solving specific heat for my upcoming exam. How can i compute the specific heat? Is there an easy technique? if there is, please tell me how?
Sample problem:
A thermos bottle contains 80g of water at 15 degree celcius. Into this placed 40g of metal at 85 degree celcius after equilibrium is established, the temparature of the water and metal is 35 degree celcius. What is the specific heat of metal? Assume no heat loss to the thermos bottle?
(if there is an answer of (3400gdegree celcius - (subtract) 1400g degree celcius) where do 1400g degree celcius comes from?

My hair is long and straight. I straighten it every morning, but this hairstyle is getting old. I have tried scrunching it and curling it but neither holds for very long, the curling doesnt hold at all. My hair is very thick also. Has anyone seen these videos? They are completely disgusting, I couldn't even finish these videos. My son is 2 weeks old tomorrow, his umbilical cord has not fallen off yet, and it bleeds sometimes. The blood never gushes, but it will... ooze? out from around the stump. I understand. If you don't like second hand smoke that's fine. It's your life and you choose where to be, eat, sleep, drink, talk, ect.

But is anyone forcing you to go the bar on mainstreet that allows smoking? Do you have to be there? Can't you choose another bar that is smoke free?

Why do you ant-smokers have to make everything smoke free just because you think smoke is bad? Suppose you are a fat sugar holic that eats in front of your kids. Maybe a bad example?
You have a choice to go somewhere smoke free!

Why shouldn't we have the right to go somewhere to smoke?

I guess some like communism? Extreme goverment control?

Please don't post about how bad smoking is. There are a lot of things that are bad that people do to hurt others.

I know, this is a pretty random question. But today while on the phone with my best friend I was telling her how I was at the mall with my mom and I got two shirts, my friend said I was spoiled. And I know I'm a pretty sensitive person, but I took offense. I tried defending myself and said that I wasn't a brat or anything. She replied with her "know-it-all" voice (that she often gets, by the way) and said that being spoiled means only that my parents give me whatever I want. I told her that it's a mean thing to say and she said it wasnt and that its "stupid" that I would take offense at something like that. So we sat in silence for about two minutes (over the phone) until I said I wasn't mad at her or anything. She didn't say she wasn't mad at me, but she was standing by her statement and how it wasn't mean or anything. Then she said she was going to go and she'd talk to me some other time.
Usually, I wouldn't even let her know this bothered me, but she does say stuff like this a lot.
