alright, once again i have a trig questions, in a tangent, the angle:
A=a/b
a being the side opposite of angle A and b being the adjacent side of a.
so, the tangent of an angle measuring 30 degrees is
tan=.577350269
what is that number?! is it measuring in radians? if so, it would turn out to be:
.577350269 x (180/pi)=33.07973373 degrees.

help?

Company in Nigeria. I have an address but have a hard time find answers. Can any one explain to me what happens if your international passport expires. If you send a package over seas what happens. I was told at the post office once the package leaves the USA that it is a free for all. I sent a package over seas and was told that there was something in it and know they are proscuting this person for it. I have never in my entire life ever done anything like that. I'm a clean person. I like to work out & a health nut. Can you please tell me if I've been scammed. If so I do I go about reporting this.

I really like this girl that I've known for about a year now, and we talk every once in awhile and we used to hang out a lot and we always had a good time. she knows I like her because I sent flowers to her school, but should I just tell her the next time we talk on the phone and tell her, how I feel about her? I really like her but I don't want to ruin our friendship if she dosen't like me more than a friend. What should I say to her when/if we talk again? I would tell her in person but I don't know when I will see her again.

the guy that likes me is getting worst.. he's now stocking me & now saying i selpt w/ him (i didnt) i am so mad. im not sure if he actually said that i slept with him but someone told me so. i almost cried. luckily no one believes him & they dont know its me & i know hes stocking me because he knows were i meet my friends during brunch and during bruch i walked right by him pretending i didnt see him & then when i sat at the table he sat at a table behind me & he was pretending to read but really was looking at me (i could see him threw the corner of my eye) & then a person blocked him from seeing me & he started to walk by my table.
my friends said i should report him to the dean & i think i will if he keeps it up.. i plan on giving him a letter because he keeps on ruining my day
i havent told my mom about this do you think i should?
i first want to ask him if all this is true
i dont like him & he is just becoming to much.

I see the term "horizontal tannins" used occasionally in wine reviews (just do a web search for the phrase and you'll find a bunch of them). I know what tannins are, and I know what "silky tannins" are, but what are "horizontal tannins"?

I think I found my biological father. I have never known him and its been 25 years. I do want to meet him but don't know how or what I should do. I have everything about him including phone numbers, addresses and possible relations of his. But it scares me to death to contact him. What if he doesn't want to talk to me? What if he wants nothing to do with me? I can't talk to my mom about it, she the one who told me about him but its a sore subject with her. So I don't even want to tell her I found him for fear of upsetting her. I have a right to know and yet she thinks I'm better off, my curiosity is overbearing. He has no obligations to me and if I just meet him once, maybe my curiosity will subside. How should I handle this? I'm terrified. Please help...thanks...

I have purchased a new Nokia cell which uses a mini SD card.Media Player 10 is my default player, and I am trying to save songs onto the card; however, I have only been able to save songs in the wav format and my phone won't recognize that format. Something I've been wondering about: what do you find is a good function to use for the approximation of f(x) = x factorial?
I've tried Stirling's approximation, and the Gamma function, which are both quite good; yet Stirling's is not as accurate, and the Gamma Function, while very cool, cannot be integrated nor differentiated due to the multiplicity of its equation and variables.
So...any suggestions for further exploration on the calculus of
f(x) = x!
?
Note: please do not simply link me to factorial explanation sites; I've already been to most of them.
