I understand. If you don't like second hand smoke that's fine. It's your life and you choose where to be, eat, sleep, drink, talk, ect.

But is anyone forcing you to go the bar on mainstreet that allows smoking? Do you have to be there? Can't you choose another bar that is smoke free?

Why do you ant-smokers have to make everything smoke free just because you think smoke is bad? Suppose you are a fat sugar holic that eats in front of your kids. Maybe a bad example?
You have a choice to go somewhere smoke free!

Why shouldn't we have the right to go somewhere to smoke?

I guess some like communism? Extreme goverment control?

Please don't post about how bad smoking is. There are a lot of things that are bad that people do to hurt others.

Are you overweight?

Do you have about 10 shots everynight and drive home?
It reminds me of the baptist church.

A youth paster didn't get fired because he didn't drink or smoke. Even though he had an affair.

Here's the thing. I shouldn't have to modify my itinerary to avoid a smoker's obnoxious habit. If you want to smoke, have at it. Go home and stink your own clothes up, befoul your own lungs, and leave me out of it. Once your habit becomes my health problem, we have an issue.

If I eat sugar, it doesn't affect you. I could eat myself into a diabetic coma and you'd be perfectly okay. I could drink myself into an alcoholic stupor at the same time, and it wouldn't affect you. (I don't drink).

Now, if I puked on you...then my habit would be your problem.

You have the right to be addicted to whatever you want, until it affects me. That's where I draw the line.

did you ever consider that you might be overreacting just a little, and, even though it might be frustrating, the more non-smoking bars the better. If you find it too troublesome to smoke because of all the no smoking signs, just don't smoke, period. I know you don't want people to post about how bad smoking is....why? is it because you already know and you don't want people reminding you? I'll just say this - you're basically commiting suicide.....think about that the next time you pick up the lighter.
And who says, just because it's a church, they don't have problems? It's like saying the pastor is more holy than the rest of the people just because he's the pastor. It's just a building filled with normal people. somtimes the people aren't who they think they are, or who they say they are, but the goal is that they are people who love the Lord. do you know Jesus? It might solve your problems. Take a deep breath of fresh air and take in the glory around you...life is too precious to waste it on complaing about no smoking signs...don't you think?
There you go....you wanted an honest opinion....you got one.

In Ohio, they have banned smoking virtually everywhere, including A CIGAR BAR. For the love of God, what non-smoker is going to go into a place like that? Can there be NO exceptions? I actually don't mind being huddled outside or into a corner so that my habit doesn't affect others. But that's just plain retarded.

The problem with smokers is that in their warped view they think that smoke just stays in the immediate region of the smoker. Why should non-smokers have to have their personal space invaded at all ever by a noxious substance? I don't exude a toxic stench for yards in every direction that lingers behind me, and I don't appreciate anyone else forcing it on me. Besides, if you look at the litter on the street, 90% of it is from cigarettes. Smokers are filthy.
