Okay my first question may seem a little odd but it confused me. I have never had a male dog before so forgive me for the ignorance on the issue.....but when male dogs are neutered, do they always castrate them? I had my male cats neutered and they still "appear" to be intact as they only cut the sac to remove the testicles then close the wounds and it fills with fluid appearing normal. Yet I was brushing my dogs belly last night and noticed he has NOTHING but a penis. No sac, no anything. Is this common practice?

My second question is, what would make a dog not like the good foods? I have tried feeding him Natural Choice, Iams, Science Diet, Pro Plan, Pro Plan Select, and Authority. No luck, he refuses to eat any of it. He will nibble here and there but no real eating and he's losing weight now. Vet says he's perfectly healthy, all tests came back normal. Suggested just trying new foods to find one he'll eat. More info coming.........

I already have my tongue & upper ear pierced, which they hurt, but I handled it shockingly well. The tongue obviously hurt the most, which I pierced 3 times, because I kept waiting to long to put the barbell back in. Um, going to get it done tomorrow so jus trying to get an idea of how much pain to expect. Do you think taking some medication like Vicodine or even just tylenol will help any? Or will it complicate the piercing, since I heard to not take any pills or alcohol because something to do with the bleeding afterwards.

I'll be visiting Detroit next week for a few days. I've been told by many people there're some nasty neighborhoods that I should stay away. Any idea which neighborhoods they might be?? I'm Canadian, so I'll cross over from Sarnia. Will be staying in the Roseville area, and I just need to go to the Woodward/Mack area (metro Detroit) for a few hours each day. Forget about the casualties for a minute. I've been to 4 other countries since the beginning of the war in 2003. Everyone seems to hate Americans. These are countries in Western Europe.

I have talked to other people who travel a lot and they have experienced the exact same thing.

Americans have become outcasts internationally.

I know this may not be politically correct, but shows like The Crocodile Hunter seem to be very abusive, at least in my opinion, towards animals. They seem to show a lack of respect to animals.
Grabbing at them, wrestling them, hasseling them. I hate it so much I can barf!! Does anyone else feel this way?
