I know this may not be politically correct, but shows like The Crocodile Hunter seem to be very abusive, at least in my opinion, towards animals. They seem to show a lack of respect to animals.
Grabbing at them, wrestling them, hasseling them. I hate it so much I can barf!! Does anyone else feel this way?

I definitely don't think animal shows such as the crocodile hunter are in any way abusive, because they aren't just going out and "wrestling" them for fun. The ONLY time they go out and have to even approach the animals is when they are sick or the animal is in trouble in some way. The other animals they show don't fight unless scared, and what animal wouldn't be scared of a bunch of wierd cameras and people in their cage/environment? they don't over exert the animal, and they stay far enough away from other animals that it might harm them or themselves. if you actually pay attention to the story line that is going on, they aren't just wrestling or grabbing animals to abuse them. i think you should watch a little closer and keep an open mind at least during one show. most animals are harmless and ok to approach even if just to let us people that can't go out into the wild to see- they have never killed an animal on t.v. and if the animal gets distressed they always let them go and try later if they really needed to do something. (i don't mean to sound rude if i did!! sorry!)

Yes, when I went to the Citizens Advice Bureau the other day an anaconda and an alligator were saying exactly the same thing and were looking to sue for harassment.

Not at all. How do you think we know what we do about animals. Without poking and prodding around a little we would know nothing.
