What do you think of when you hear the name Tammie? also do you think its a pretty name or an ugly name or just whatever? thanks

Are you looking for a name for your daughter? You are in the wrong section, you must try Pregnancy & Paranting, Baby Names, they will help you. But my opinion is Tammie is nice for a kid but when she grows up she might not like it. Why dont you call her Tamzin and Tammie for short.

I like the name although I prefer Tammy not Tammie!
My friend's 16 year old daughter has the name and it suits her, she is very pretty!

When i hear the name Tammy it makes me think of country&Western music (Tammy Whynett ) I think that,s how the name is spelt?

When I see it with the "ie" on the end I for some strange reason keep picturing a cat. I have no clue why!
It's not an ugly name at all, but not one of I'm a huge fan of. I don't mean to offend you at all; just wanted to provide my honest input. I hope you understand.

It sounds OLD. No...I donot like it, I think because everyone I have ever known with the anme is not that smart. that is my experience....i would prefer that yu didnt hold it against me. i speak my truth. Trust me, my name is not that much better.
