I recently bought a "Belly Bar" because I heard they taste great and have a lot of vitamins. As I read the nutrional facts though, I noticed it is very high in folic acid and other vitamins which is great. However, I read on my vitamin bottle that over 1mg of folic acid daily may lead to anemia. I have also heard that too much vitamin A is not good while you're pregnant. Lastly, the bar says that it contains all of the daily supplemental nurtients needed during pregnancy. Should I not eat these while I am taking my prenatal vitamins? Has anyone else tried these while taking their prenatals and have had no negative results from them?
Serious answers only please!
Thank you for your help!!

I ran cross-country in the fall and had a 5k time of 20 minutes and a mile time of 6-ish minutes. I haven't run at all since then. I'm not really a 50 yard dash kind of person, but i think that i am a decent sprinter.

1. What race do you think I should run (200, 400, 1600, etc.)?

2. How much do I need to run during the two weeks remaining before spring track to get in respectable beginning-of-the-season track shape?

I have never done spring track before, so I have no idea what to do. Help!

Buddhism engourages the opposite way of thinking rather than believing in any religion, holy man, or holy book. That includes not believing in Buddhism. The whole point in Buddhism is they want you to find what is true for "you" and it doesn't have to agree with anyone else, not even the Buddha. Buddhism discourages from thinking outside of the "real world." They want you to see the "real world" as it really is without opinions or judgments. I consider Buddhism to be more scientific in its philosophy rather than religious. They even encourage people to go into meditation and write their own verses rather than following someone elses. Again, why is Buddhism about believing? Buddhism doesn't even address the issue of God. Buddhism is only concerned with the "real world" and its suffering.

Hi, I've been writing a number of jazz tunes, and I want to be able to sell what I write. I'm not sure how to go about doing that.
Thanks for any ideas you may have.

Right now it is just notes and all on music paper, and I have parts for each instrument. I don't have anything recorded on CD right now. I could do that, but I'd have to hire musicians to do a demo. I'm not sure what might be best. I really would like to be able to sell what I do. THANKS

in the usa, ive seen bibles that are published in sooo many different ways. (picture books, story books WITH pictures... etc.)

in other religions, are the religious books published differently?
or is the (for example) Qur'an (sorry for bad spelling) just a standard thing, no changes made to it?

I have been having neck pain for at least on and off for about 7 months. Until recently, I just contributed it to stress and working on the computer a lot. The past 2 weeks it has gotten tremendously worse. Tingling down my right arm...and pain in my neck and headaches. My doctor ordered a c-spine, and of course it came back with Osteoarthritis with some nerve compression. I'm slightly baffled by this diagnosis as I'm only 45 yrs old. My doctor now wants an MRI...(which I went today for) to see exactly what is going on with the nerves and soft tissue.
I'm primarily concerned because of my age...possible misdiagnosis. Although, I will know more in a couple of days based on my MRI findings. Has anyone ever been through this before? I really do not want surgery. I'm hoping that its something that can be managed with physical therapy...and whatever else is non-invasive. Thanks for the help...

How does one cope with family/ex friends who labeled me as being something I am not.(me being the black sheep among perfect other family members) leading me to be shunned by family & supposed friends..when all I did was divorce my husband?? Although I've come to grips with the situation, it stil bothers me. Is it to boost their society standing?? Or are they just cruel? I've tried to get on with my life without my family but it is still very hurful. Some insight would be very helpful. Thanks

Even if it ended badly, you don't keep in touch anymore, and you've moved on with your life... can you ever truly forget how you felt the first time you fell in love? Is it possible to fully move on & look back without missing them? Share your experiences & opinions.
