How does one cope with family/ex friends who labeled me as being something I am not.(me being the black sheep among perfect other family members) leading me to be shunned by family & supposed friends..when all I did was divorce my husband?? Although I've come to grips with the situation, it stil bothers me. Is it to boost their society standing?? Or are they just cruel? I've tried to get on with my life without my family but it is still very hurful. Some insight would be very helpful. Thanks

Why worry about what other people say or think? I am also the black sheep. I live my life the way I want to. If anyone else doesn't like it, tough.
My family, myself included are very devout Christians. I am divorced twice...that's a big no no, but hey that's life If I can live with it so can they.

If your family is anything like mine I bet they don't just talk about you they talk about everyone. Anything that is bad is good to dish up and serve. Gossip just like the type found in a tabloid is interesting more so than hearing about good things that people do. Negativity always seems to be more interesting than positivity.Kick em when they are up and kick em when they are down mentality.
