I have been using the time-out method with my son since he was18months old. He is now two and a half and he still doesn't seem to be getting it. I'm at a loss. Has this method worked with anyone else's toddlers? I am starting to consider the other discipline option but I can't bring myself to spank him. any idea's?

What is the kindest thing you ever did for a complete stranger?

My story would center around an incident where I was in the wrong place at the wrong time... A neighbor lady got a flat tire and didn't know how to deal with it and asked me for help... long story short it took me over two hours to help this lady and I ultimately had to buy her a tire to get her back on the road There were lug nut issues and jack issues and it was about 105 degrees in the shade and her two boys wouldn't stop mis-behaving and she wouldn't quit shreiking at them like a harpy on crack and I was laying in the mud for a good portion of it... I had planned to have a fun afternoon out with my girl but instead I went through slow hell for this total stranger all afternoon long.... What's your story?

Mainly for those who eat meat . Would you buy cloned meat if it was legal and accurately labelled?

What are your reasons for or against? I think that if the Government allows it to be legal then it should be labelled so that you can all make the informed choice yourselves.

Is Bush attempting to bankrupt Iran as Reagan did the USSR?

It cost Saudi Arabia $2 to produce a barrell of oil and Iran $20 to produce the same barrell of oil. If oil prices continue to fall what will happen to Iran. The royal family in Saudi Arabia is a strong ally of the U.S. as is the UAE and Kuait. Shouldn't we use our influence these countries more to help eliminate the threat they have of an extremist Iran?

What makes you christian so sure?...?

...that the bible hasnt been meddled with since it was not written by jesus himself but rather his followers moreover many many yrs after his cruxification...so wad if the infos were wrong? What if they intentionally changed some infos? What can you do except to deny all the way that the bible is the truth, in the 1st place without any solid evidence?...Im not dissing you people, but jus that if u can disbelieve the da vinci code becuz its not proven, why cant i ask this question?...becuz ther is not a single proof that only the words of jesus are purely found in the bible...lets say u love ur galfren so much, and i ask u to write a book about her...i bet u will exaggerate about ur galfren to a very high extent...cuz u love her n wanna put her into good light...so same could have happened to bible?
