It's a Paypal account that I'll be using. Does the item have to be on buyer protection?

I had a friend at college who baught a tv on ebay, shortly after the seller deleted his ebay account. she never got it, and her money was never returned to her, becareful

I've had two disputes on ebay and was refunded both times.
The first time the seller claims to have mailed the item but I never recieved it. Giving him the benefit of the doubt I asked him to claim from the postal company and give me a refund. He refused so I contacted ebay who judged in my favour as he couldn't prove I'd recieved it.
Th second time the seller removed his account directly after I'd paid so I reported this to paypal who refunded me 5 days later.

I purchased a movie through ebay and payed using paypal but never received the movie. I filed a complaint with Paypal and it took a few weeks but I did get my money back.

yes, and i always get my money back. usually around 10 days.
