Couple of weeks ago I turned of my monitor and in the morning when I went to turn it back on it wouldn't work. All I had was a black screen. I pluged it into a different outlet and it wouldn't turn on either. It's a flat LCD screen, one where I can plug the TV in as well so I figured if it didn't turn on in a different outlet that I had blown.

So for 2 weeks I have been using our laptop but yesterday we got a really old monitor from someone just so we can go on our desktop to back up all my pics and programs because we've decided to just get a new computer.

But when I plugged in this old monitor it's not working either. When we just plug it in and turn it on a white screen appears but as soon as we plug it into the computer nothing happens.

So is it possible that the part that you plug the monitor into on the back of the computer has blown and did something to my monitor?

If so would someone know if it would be worth fixing or would it be to expensive, not worth it?

At what point do you feel this happens? Global or US examples would be wonderful, perhaps specific legislation or court decisions.

This is from an argument at a bar last night that ended when we were kicked out because we ran out of money, at which time we were far too drunk to remember what we had already said.

We had an irish menu with unfamiliar sounding names, from which we picked 3 items for each course served. When the menus "items" arrived, you might have selected things such as soup, fork, and sherbet for that course. You had to eat with whatever you picked. It was so much fun watching people eat with their hands,if they didn't choose a utensil. Where could I find the idea and the menu?

ummm, yeah....I got this computer from my grandparents and it used to be theirs. But the problem is, when I went to go listen to some music on myspace, there was no sound at all! I made sure the volume was all the way up, but there was no, nothing, zilch, nada, NO sound at all. I've had this computer for about 4 months and I haven't been able to listen to any music or anything and it's killin me! If I don't sound soon, I'm going to go crazy!!

Yeah....so is there anyone who can help me with this??

and still has good blood count after 3 days-------would this indicate no leukemia? had bone marrow test done today---had an ulcer and was on gout medication(dr. didn't know) he thinks this could have caused bleeding ulcer---can anyone advise? we are all worried. thanx

Over the last 6 months I've felt a connection between me and my friend. On numerous occasions she has stroked my leg, squeezed my breasts and paid me lots of compliments over the way I looked. Sometimes we stare into each others eyes - it's intense!

At xmas we got drunk and she kissed me. The same night we cuddled in her bed and she let me stroke her navel and her lips. She wrapped her leg over my navel. We've now done this twice.

I'm so just so confused because sometimes she seems really distant from me and doesn't seem interested at all, and other times she touches me and makes innuendos.

The problem is that I've fallen for her big time now and the mixed signals are killing me. I'm too frightened to tell her I'm bi in case I lose her friendship.

Sometimes I think she is frightened of what she feels for me and so she distances herself from me. I just don't know how to handle this anymore. Has anyone got any advice?

I had a dream about pigs flying on donkey's backs. They went through the air singing the song "Doncha" by the Pussycat Dolls. Then my mom started to sing opera and I cried like a baby! Then my friend fell into a squirrel's mouth and it swallowed her whole! Then my friend said "OOOOH! OREO" and then the oreo's started laughing at me. Then the oreo jumped out of the squirrels mouth and landed on my face...... What does this mean?!?!?!?

I've discovered that my female dog loves to pee under the dinning room table. She has since been trained to go outside but now the dinning area is embarassingly smelly. I've shampooed it about 5 times and i've tried the expensive pet store oder removers. What can I do to get the smell out short of tearing up the carpet and padding? Please help.

Ability to update a webpage?
I have done a webpage for a sports club, but they want the ability to update a page with news results etc their selves.Is there any where that has an option to do this externally from the site, like a guestbook is run from like htmlgear I use for a guestbook??
