ummm, yeah....I got this computer from my grandparents and it used to be theirs. But the problem is, when I went to go listen to some music on myspace, there was no sound at all! I made sure the volume was all the way up, but there was no, nothing, zilch, nada, NO sound at all. I've had this computer for about 4 months and I haven't been able to listen to any music or anything and it's killin me! If I don't sound soon, I'm going to go crazy!!

Yeah....so is there anyone who can help me with this??

BTW I'm only 14 (soon to be 15! yay!), so I kinda need answers put in a way that I can understand. All I have is a basic knowledge of computers. Otherwise, I'm really stupid when it comes to these things.

make sure the mute button in sound properties isnt clicked.... if it isnt then your sound card is probably shot and should be replaced....you can pick one up for 30 bucks or even up to a few hundred..... just go a yahoo or google search for sound cards, here is one place that sells them
