my mom tells me to be careful...and i am. i personally don't think its bad...its like any other online site *there will always be some people who ruin it* i only have friends that i know and i don't accept strangers.....so is myspace all that bad???

I was with my ex for about 3 years and during that time we lost a pregnancy at 5 months. She was born named (Angel) baptised everything but then did not survive. We ended our relationship a year and a half later. I am currently with my bf now of a year and the babys birthday is today 2/15 and he, my ex, asked me to go out to eat to celebrate her birthday. This is something we have ALWAYS done. Well my current bf DOES NOT approve. Should I lie and just go? Should I be honest and still go? Should I not go???

For instance, let's say I am writing a short about a disaster on a futuristic moon colony (which I'm not really, in case you were wondering!).

Now, suppose one day when I was walking to class I saw something inspirational...a frost-covered tree, say, just to be cliched. This scene couldn't possibly be applied to my sci-fi short, as there is no place for crisp dawns or trees on the moon, even though I may have been greatly inspired.

So what is the solution? Forget what I have seen and concentrate on the story at hand? Try to work it in to the prose in some way? Or merely scribble it down for future reference and hope that the inspiration can be recaptured from my old notes?

My son's birthday is next week and he would like to bring treats for his class (23 students) I got a note from his teacher saying he can't bring cupcakes, cake or candy. I would like to send something fun and original, and not to messy or complicated, so that he can help make them, for him to take to treat his class. I was supposed to leave out of town on a Greyhound by 7 AM. Because of the sleep meds I take, I didn't hear my alarm clock, so @ 5:25 AM, I sprung out of bed & rushed out of the door with my luggage, & then I waited for the bus for 30 min. & buses kept passing us up in this snowy weather in NYC in Brooklyn, & I accidentally cut my hand twice. Then, I tripped & fell in the 2 1/2 ft. pile of snow & people were looking @ me like stupid & laughing. Then a couple was arguing on the train, & the police was involved, & that held me up. I would've been on time if that couple wouldn't have been arguing & held us up. I missed my New Orleans-bound bus @ 7 AM, & now I gotta wait until 9:15 PM tonight, & the boxes I have, the employees lied to me saying I can check them for free, but now I have to pay $20 for Express shipping because it's not a suitcase, & the manager was being a jerk. What's gonna happen next? Am I gonna fall down the escalator?

I really like this gal in my class im currently 17 and so is she obviously, but ive been thinking if its really worth the effort anymore ive been rejected so many times in the past i cant see why i should make an attempt with this person,
1) we have difficulty talking at school and in social events
2) on msn when we talk conversations are limited and its always me trying to start the conversation off. where as she used to talk a lot on msn to me but still not a lot at school
3) i was told she was out of my league and all and that i shouldnt make an effort

I dont wanna ask her out on a date in fear she will just turn it down like all the rest in the past not to mention she isnt really showing signs from what my friends say aswell, ive tried complimentin her sometimes and she was like aww thanks thats really cute and stuff, never got anything remotely like that back, she only spoke to me on 2 occasions and that was for helping her with some stuff. I feel lost please help me :) ty all.
