How can an 8 year old girl give her father a valentine card?... sounds a bit "sus" if you ask me.
I know there is a tradition of (ahem) close family ties in the southern states but surely this goes beyond the bounds of good taste?

When a man have a flu, he may have a fever, shiver and cough.
Earth got global warming, tremors and volcanic eruptions. Human pass gas; so as earth.
Our increasing population with escalating demand from natural resources is out of proportion.
Wouldn't human get sick if something keeps sucking the blood off him? Now, how much oil we've pumped out from our dear earth?
The earth's core is getting low on oil and perhaps natural gas, too.
Just as an engine with low oil level..... it will ultimately breakdown!
The emissions of pollutants to the atmosphere is a mere contributor to global warming. Scientists should also actively investigate what is happening in the earth's core.

I cant think of an artist today that will be considered 'timless' like Zeppelin, The Beatles, or even Nirvana. Todays pop music seems kinda manufactered and not based on real talent. It seems more about watching half naked women than music. I mean there a few good artists here and there, but most the good ones arnt really popular.

I need to know if
1. Is there any way they can legally force me to come home? (I live in California and will be moving to Florida, if that helps.)
2. If they gave me something clearly stating in front of other witnesses that it was a gift (laptop) and I take it with me, can they charge me for theft?
3. Could my roommate be charged with "kidnapping" me if my parents believed that I was not acting under my own power?
4. If I only bring my own belongings, is there any way they could charge me for theft?
5. If they try to track me down and bring me back, could I charge harrassment or file a restraining order against them?

i am 13(going on 14)1.52m and weighs 62kg. i don't eat meat and don't eat very much now(i used to eat a lot). if i do 200 sit ups , 50 push ups and run 2.4km a day for 6 days a week, is it possible for me to lose 12 kg in 2 months? I am not cold hearted or anything. I have a boyfriend who I love dearly. I'm a naturally sweet person, but I just don't view valentine's day the way "romantic" girls do. I would like to classy myself as a "romantic-realist". I like dreams to be obtainable and actions to have purpose. I know that the purpose of valentine's day is to show your love to someone else, but isn't it better to show your love all the time? I feel kind of bad because my boyfriend is making a bigger deal out of this than I am. He is afraid to disappoint me but the truth is I don't have any expectations. He understands but would like the day to be special. I love special days but it seems like this day on a calendar is an excuse to recieve flowers/candy and have more sex.

This root canal was done several months ago, and from the beginning it didn't feel right. I went in to have it checked a couple times and was told it was fine. A few months passed and it hadn't really changed, then I woke up and there was a large absess growing off of the side. I was put on antibiotics and it was cleaned and was better for a while then it came back. I was put on antibiotics 2 more time with the same results (it has cost me about $150 for antibiotics). I just called again to say it was back and my dentist told me to make an appointment with the specialist, but to let them know I had a recent x-ray so I wouldn't have to pay for another. Is this right? Shouldn't they back up their work that cost me about $1000 dollars? I don't have insurance and truly can't afford to see a specialist, is there anything I can do? Thanks so much for any advice.
