What was Romeo and Juliet's predicament?

Come up with a better plan for these "star-crossed lovers." Can you think of a solution that would bring about a better ending to the play?

Since they were single people, it woulda been nice that their families wouldn't have tried to come between them, but loved them enuf to let them be with the one they loved. The better ending is that their families respected their relationship, had a change of heart & gave them their best wishes. :) Yea for Valentine's Day for all! :) xoxoxoxoxoxo

Romeo and Juliet makes everyone's heart flutter but the truth is they were children.

One cannot improve on Shakespeare's outcome, since he was revealing the folly of youth, while exposing the exact same immaturity in the adults involved.
