Placenta previa is a pretty rare thing, affecting less than one percent of all pregnancies. It is not likely that you will experience it a second time in your life, however, you ARE at a slightly increased risk simply because you have had it before.
You should ask your doctor this, however, just to fully set your mind at ease.

I am so sorry you lost your sweet baby. With a full previa, I'm guessing you had a c-section? Or did you try a vaginal birth? If you had a c-section, there is a chance that it can happen again because of the scar on your uterus. If you attempted a vaginal delivery, then the chance is somewhat lower. Also, wait abotu 18mos to 2 years before getting pregnant again. Give your body time to heal. Can you give more details?
