I don't have it b/c I am a full-time nursing student and a part-time employee and therefore uninsured. Not everyone who is uninsured are lazy and jobless...actually the majority aren't. What is wrong with me going to the doc and getting a $20 bottle of antibiotics when I'm sick...it would be cheaper than if it turned serious and I had to go to the ER and even worse the ICU and rack up a $100,000 bill which I can not pay...the hospital will pass the burden on to you and the insurance companies will of course pass on the bill to you in the form of higher premiums. I see this in the hospital A LOT more than you can imagine. So, you are much less likely to get financially screwed if you give me the darn $20 bottle of antibiotics!!!

Why doesn't some form of Universal Health Care make sense to you?

I was caught shoplifting at Nugget Market in CA. NO cops were called...they just took down my info and took a picture (to mail to all the other stores i guess), and asked me to pay a fine. I mailed the fine out to the addie they gave me and am hoping this will be the end of it. Will it ever be brought up again? It's not on my record because no police came right?

Anyway, my advice to everyone is that shoplifting is NEVER worth it...and dont even LOOK suspicious because they can get you for that too these days.

In other words the question is: If you've had it bad before, and have it good now, do (or would) you feel better than anyone who has never had it bad?

I believe, since I've had it bad, that I have an edge over those who've never had it bad. And it makes me feel good about myself because I can help those, who've been through the same.

PS. I used the word influence because I'm a recovering addict.

I'll type in soemthing very popular and mainstream like "Madonna" and nothing will search. I don't know what I'm going wrong. This is a new computer with windows vista, could that have something to do with it? It also says that "limewire has detected a firewall", but itsn't disabling that bad? How do you disable it then?

I've read about how lap tops piggy backing may be unethical but that since there is no chance of getting caught.. then people keep doing it with no worry. On the other hand people with cable or whatever else interenet connection can be caught.. so we should just get laptops and then it solves the problem? Cousin has a laptop and is piggy backing on the neighbors and downloading stuff.... I thought he would get caught, but after reading stuff on net about this, it says nobody(police etc) really gives a damn.and nothing gets done about piggy backers.

So then, ,just get a laptop and enjoy?

i have stretch marks right above my butt due to weight gain over the past year. Im starting to loose the weight right now, and i know as the skin returns to its original placement on the body, the marks fade.

BUT will the top of my butt look like the stretched out stomach of a mother with 3 kids, or will it look normal?

A couple of months ago, my lips started getting dry, but I ignored it. So it started getting drier,itchy, and crackly. I then started putting Burt's Bees repair serum and their Lipbalm. Which made it a little better, but my lips were still 'sick'. Then another anomaly came to the picture: my upper lip swells up occasionally at night. It doesn't itch while swollen, just, the next couple of days, my upper lip has a red 'almost' circle. It feels extra freaky soft (like your skin after you peel of a scab), and it stars crackling again. Last night I compressed it with chamomile tea bag, and put olive oil on it this morning. I've been dealing with this for long enough so I really would like to know what this is and want to get it over with..! I'm a stay-at-home wife, and don't wear make up unless I go out (about once a week), I just use lipbalm. I prefer not going to a doctor.

Most or all religions come from the desert is what i've been told by a few people. Isn't religion the biggest scam of all? to keep some sort of social norm among people? What if you die and that was just it, dust to dust? I have seen lawyers talk to other lawyers as if they were angry at each other… especially in the courtroom then go back and shake hands and it’s as if they were friends again. What’s going on… do lawyers really get angry at other lawyers or is this strategy for clients favor.
