i have stretch marks right above my butt due to weight gain over the past year. Im starting to loose the weight right now, and i know as the skin returns to its original placement on the body, the marks fade.

BUT will the top of my butt look like the stretched out stomach of a mother with 3 kids, or will it look normal?

it depends on fast you lose weight will depend if you'll have hang skin. The stretch marks will fade with time but still be seen I have a light skin tone and they now look lighter then other skin with like a shininess. I've tried most creams out there and personally feel that they are a waist of money. I suggest using a high moister cream I like the Gold bond hand creams. They make your skin moist without being grease.

Cocoa butter is used for both preventing stretch marks and treating them.Cocoa butter should be applied to the skin soon after a warm water bath, when the pores are open and the cocoa butter is easily absorbed. Shea butter may also be used instead of cocoa butter. You can find more cheap and natural remedies for stretch marks at http://arzi.org/

I'm a mum of 1 and have stretch Marks and no they don't go away but yes they do fade. Their are stretch mark creams that can be used on them as well. Personally real cocoa butter works wonders.

The skin on your lower back is thicker than the skin on your tummy so it shouldn't sag like the tummy does after weight loss.
I gained a bunch of weight, got stretch marks and lost it. The top of my butt never sagged.

The stretch marks will fade but not go away completely. Try vitamin e gel to help soften and lessen the harsheness of the marks. Good luck.

If its just a little weight, try firming lotion, cocoa butter or shea butter. If its a lot of weight, your doctor would be the best person to ask that question.
