Office has been open for 7 years, most marketing has been newspaper, word of mouth programs, some yellow page that was not productive. Staff is one doctor, one office manager. Town population 20,000, also 7 other chiropractors. There are no major retailers (Wal*Mart store has wiped them out locally).

I was fired after 1 year at working at the same company and the reason was because I was sick all the time. obviously this is not the reason the company alleges, even though I was fired while off sick, which is illegal in the country I was based.

They claim I haven't provided them with the sick notes on time (poor excuse)

This is a big company, I am very qualified for the job and yet know I am very scared to go for other interviews and say I was fired. above all to say the reason why I was fired. they will never give me a job in this industry (investments) if I say the real reason why my previous company fired me.

I know that If I take them to court I have a high probability of getting compensation but my main concern now is how to address the issue at the moment.

I have been avoiding phone calls and emails from head hunters because I dont want to say I have been fired.

Please help

I am trying to get my 11 month old into a routine and also trying to get her to sleep through the night. Some people have told me that at that age, they wake up at 3am/4am for a feed / cuddle because it is nice for them but they don't actually need it. But she still has a whole bottle at that time. We give her enough dinner (at least we think so) and when she goes to sleep she has a whole bottle. What must I do?

Last saturday i went to a party and drank alot, i also smoked over 10 ciggerretes, now, i used to smoke, a year ago, i wasnt heavy, at most i had 3 a day.But it is now thursday, and i have had a cold, i keep going really hot and then really cold, so my tempretures all over, i feel sick in the mornings.At first i thought i could be pregnant, but i've never had sex.ha,I keep getting paranoid over everything too.

I am moving on from an ex 28 yrs that doesn't want a relationship right now because of certain reasons i.e his frame of mind at this moment in time. We were like BEST FRIENDS aswell as lovers.We gelled right from the start, we were both mentally stimulating & enjoyed evryday of each others company every time I hav tried to move on he has ALWAYS come bac but it is the end now on my part I feel so hurt by the fact that he has messed me about so much with broken promises & his inability 2 commit. But I am stil hurt.he can't understand why we can't be friends & se what happens in the future. But I feel that if he does want 2 b with me in the future that when he asks I should say no? what do you think? should I DECLINE?

I just downloaded the new adobe reader 8 to read the new issue of playboy, i had to download it coz it said that the file is secured and could be opened by a newer version of adobe.

But the thing is that it's way too slow, it takes like 15 seconds to switch to the page following.

Does anyone knw how i might improve this ?!
