My adobe reader is way too slow !?

Question

I just downloaded the new adobe reader 8 to read the new issue of playboy, i had to download it coz it said that the file is secured and could be opened by a newer version of adobe.

But the thing is that it's way too slow, it takes like 15 seconds to switch to the page following.

Does anyone knw how i might improve this ?!

try update the program...
normally there should be adobe reader speed launch running background.
