My daughter (13) was recently taken off Adderal XR because of "adverse" affects. We had her tested for toxicity - normal. But now she is having problems staying focused in school - completing work on time and just being restless. Even though her "old self" has returned we are looking for ways to help her at school. I am not a big fan of having to put her back on meds. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My whole life I have been told its not good to have too many open credit cards that you dont use.. but on here it appears that people are saying it is hurtful to your credit score to close out credit cards.
Thinking about is rationally I would think that closing accounts you dont use would help your score since you are lowering your potential future debt which would give you less chance of getting in trouble finacially...

V-day is coming up, I am only 16 and my GF is too. I love her ssoooooo much. And I was wondering if anyone had any tips on what I should get her. I'm already doing this one thing in which you get a girl 11 real roses and 1 fake one and tell her that you will love her until the last rose dies. And it never will because it is a fake one. Recently a story in the news told of a woman who scammed almost $1 million from 22 of her neighbors by telling them that a CIA satellite would scan their bodies for disease and that agents would sneak into their homes in the night and adminster the appropriate drugs to cure them.

Would you recommend skepticism regarding such claims?

Why not turn the same skepticism to the claims of religions?

I am trying to load up Norton Save & Restore off the self-booting recovery CD. Everything appears to be working normally when it first starts loading. It shows the 'Symantec recovery disk loading' message. After a few more moments it shows the yin-yang Norton Logo Screen. As it continues loading it goes to a cyan background and puts up a white cursor that I can move around. The cd-rom keeps bumping and grinding for several moments(almost sounds like a mechanic tryiing to rip-out an engine). Finally, after 7-8 minutes of what appears to be a normal boot process, the software simply reboots the computer and Im back to square one. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can get past this problem? Please help. Thanks.

In Japanese comics (both contemporary and historical) the characters sometimes say "Kamisama"...
So I wonder... when non-Christian Japanese people invoke 'kamisama' do they mean:
1- one God (and if it's one, which one?)
2- several deities/gods

I just checked my bank account and it says I have a negative balance. I guess what happened was Friday I paid my rent and that next day (Sat.) it had already posted to my checking account. I was supposed to be paid that same Friday as well. My employer was late with our checks and I had to wait until Saturday to get my money, unfortunately by that time it was too late. The rent check had already posted and I did not have enough in the account to cover it. I checked my account today and I have over $200.00 in overdraft fees, and my paycheck still hasn’t posted. So I was being charged on all those little things I purchased like gas, food, etc. If I call my bank and explain what had happened is it possible to have those removed? I bank with Bank one and have never had any other account problems. I though I was ok since I wrote the check Friday and was going to deposit the money on Saturday, but my apartment complex beat me too it.

My daughter developed a rash on her chest about two weeks ago. The bumps look like small pimples, and covered her upper chest, shoulders, and upper back. When I took her to the doctor, she said my daughter just had dry skin, and suggested I bathe her less often (twice a week), use less or no soap and apply moisturizer daily. I did this, but the rash is still there, and now it's spread to her lower abdomen. Any suggestions? Should I take her back to the doctor?

I reside in New York State. I have heard foreclosure laws are different for each state. My mortgage company just called this morning and said I am in foreclosure as of 2/1/07. I am in the middle of refinancing with this SAME company. I also got a letter yesterday saying they had made payment arrangements with me. I'm very confused and trying to contact them. In the meantime, I am trying to find out how long it takes for them to follow through with a foreclosure in NYS. I also just made a payment to them but the person on the phone this morning said they are sending it back.
