I like this guy and I happen to know that he likes me too. His sister told me. The thing is that both of us are shy even though we're close. (not "best friends" close but more than just acquaintances)

Anyway, lately he's been acting really strange around me and I can tell he's trying to hide his feelings. Sometimes, we sort of send out little signals and I think he knows that I like him too. The thing is that neither of us is brave enough to take the first step and admit it. But despite all this, he's sort of acting like a boyfriend to me and I'm sorta playing the role of the girlfriend. How will we know when it's official?

i see alot more questions about emo hate
then preppy hate
we should judge people about what is on the inside,
not on the out.
like at school
i bet that atleast 85% of the teens and preteens know
that if u wear "the clothes" (which is usually abercrombie, hollister, ect ect)
u will most likely get treated better by others
and i bet that those who are "preppy" are nice, too.
but so are the emo/goth/other labeled groups.
why is it like this..??

I have seen people who have gotten braces and they still have crooked teeth (not after they take it off but with the braces on). My top teeth are crammed and i have a tooth growing above the others and it looks really bad. Will braces (and a good doctor) make them straight?

Also is it all made straight at once or over time because i would like the one growing on top to be moved down immediately so nobody can see it slowly being moved down. thank you for the replies.

came here in U.S. approximately 5 years ago. I was 12 back then.
My family and I arrived at LAX airport from korean international airport. I was fascinated by the surrounding; different kinds of ethnicities and their skin colors. However, at the same time, I was very stressed out about my future. What will I be when I grow up? How can I learn english? What lies beyond this right now?
Things kept worrying me till I fell sleep in the aunt's car, in which was heading to Santa Monica. Before I landed my feet onto this continent, I saw the bright star that shun above me. It was so bright and huge, it reminded me of star of David. My dad is still residing in korea due to his job. He is brilliant professor at college. He taught me a lot of things including how to become a real person. Here I am now. I go to high school. I'm still wandering around to see if I can really find real me inside of my soul. I'm lack of everything. I'm incomplete. Literally. I don't know what to do with my life.

Okay this is a huge huge problem in my relationship with my boyfriend of a year now. I don't know if he's jealous or what it is. I have a friendthat i have been friends with since I was 7 years old, he lives an hour away and I only see him maybe once a year when he comes to visit friends here. We talk pretty much everytime, he'll call sometimes during the week, but I do not by any means think of him as more than a friend. I am absolutely crazy about my boyfriend and love him so much so it bothers me that he is so upset about this. He suspected my friend liked me sicne we talk alot and becuase he would say alot of times he thought I was hot ect. He does seem pretty down about my boyfriend too and usually insuslts him-though neither have evermet each other-but i tell him not to and he has stopped. Anyway my friend did admit he thinks he's "in love" with me, but I told him we could only be friends, and he's stopped all that. But this has not helped the situation with my boyfriend.

I really like this girl alot. Its more than just a sexual thing. I care for her alot, and i think i might actually love her. We were good friends for awhile, but she turned me down. I've recently met someone new and went out every weekend with her for the past 4 weeks. We've spent afternoons together to bond and eat meals together at interesting places. She and I have both made meals for each other. It's understood we're becoming good friends and we feel really comfortable with one another. I enjoy the moments being w/ her and she's felt the same. We've never designated the 'outtings' as 'dates', which undoubtedly relieved the pressure and allowed us to just be... time's passed and she's mentioned that another guy's asked her out on a 'date' at night during the workweek and went out with him... she's been open to talk to me about it and I'm not jealous about it. However, I'd like to ask her out on a 'date', too. I guess what makes this different is the level of attraction and perception of bf material.

Am I at the point-of-no-return?

What would happen if you had your thyroid taken out and was put on synthroid by your doctor and then you stopped taking it on your own? I know someone who has done that and hasn't taken his meds for a week and I think without it and without his thyroid he could die. Help!
