I think protective services get it really wrong sometimes. That's why I quit my job with them. The children that are being abused are left with the abusers and the one's taken away shouldn't be. That's not always the case tho.

They need to make sure all bases are covered. Just think if they didn't investigate and the child ends up murdered, the service in charge would get in alot of trouble for not investigating

Just think of how may thousands of children are taken from their parents for this same exact reason.Kids will fall and get injured.I know that alot of children are abused and neglected but you will be surprised how many are not and thrown into foster homes. There is not much you can do.I was in a foster home.At age 8 My foster sister and I was batheing together. She was 6.My foster father was late for work.He told us to pull the shower curtain so he can get his wallet off of the sink that he left there while he was shaving and dressing earlier in the bathroom.I pulled the curtain shut.Im not sure how DFCS found out but we was yanked out of the foster home and thrown into another one.I kept contact with these people and found out a few years later he was labled as a child molester and they lost their foster liciense for good.kids get hurt all the time but in others eyes it is severe abuse.

if you child did just fall they will find this out.
so theres nothing to worrie about
sometimes they even bring the child to a kind of councilling sesion and the child is asked to show what happened through a picture or by useing a teddy or something so i have been told :)
good luck everything will work out fine

It's the same for foster parents as for parents. If it is suspected that you hurt your child, then you will be investigated. Don't worry about it unless you had something to do with his falling.
