i see alot more questions about emo hate
then preppy hate
we should judge people about what is on the inside,
not on the out.
like at school
i bet that atleast 85% of the teens and preteens know
that if u wear "the clothes" (which is usually abercrombie, hollister, ect ect)
u will most likely get treated better by others
and i bet that those who are "preppy" are nice, too.
but so are the emo/goth/other labeled groups.
why is it like this..??

thanx!

It is how life is. Unfortunately! What a perfect world we would live in if we all just got along. Jealousy is mainly the problem. One who has self expression is consider "weird" instead seeing that they are creative. Ones who wear name brand clothes is protrayed as "rich" when they really only like material things. It will always be this way. No one looks from the inside out. Those who do.. never get any respect. I tried to get along with everyone while I was in school. It was hard, but I managed.

Some people are NOT like this. I think the more you explore the world and see different cultures, the less threatened you are by those who are different. It is very troubling to see all the hate in this world at all age levels, but it is not inherently part of being a human. Education and exposure to others is really helpful.

I'm glad you have the philosophy that one should judge people on the inside. it will make you life a lot happier!

im preppy..i wear hollister and abercrombie..but that dosent make me better than everyone else and i dont act like it does..i think the source of emo hate is that most of the emo people i have come in contact with dont act like they want to be around me and they criticize be b/c i am popular and pretty and emos arnt normally popular..its just human nature and the way that we were raised...i have emo friends and they are really nice and fun to be around..but we normally dont hang out at school b/c they are afraid that itll make their friends not like them..some emos look scary..and not approachable..i personally dont like labels..but you are what you are

i agree with you but this is not always true. some people consider me goth or emo but i am still really good freinds with some preppy girls. This is also true in some other goth/emo girls from my school. but some people hate emos and hate preps because they don't get to know them but judge them from what they see and how they act. nomatter how we try to get along some people will act like this by nature and theres nothing we can do about it

People hate others who are not like they are because they are sinners. They refuse to appreciate others' interesting differences. They are being very immature. Try to avoid people such as they are as much as possible. Find friends that are really your friends--people who like you for who you are, not what you wear. When you are older, you will have the confidence to wear whatever YOU prefer rather than what the fashion industry or your peers tell you. Not every person looks good in every style of clothes anyway. Besides, who can afford to be buying those expensive clothes weekend in and weekend out! :o)

it is usual for people to fear/hate anything new or different. i was the "different" one in school. i just decided that in the end it really didnt matter what others said to me or how they juged me. i was NOT going to change my likes or who i was friends with to please some spoiled stuck up preppy b*tch.

i am who i am. and who i am is great. i know i am somebody special; because GOD dont make no junk.

because most people think that the way they do things is the best way to do things and if they see someone do it differently then they can't stand it or are offended.

Here is my theory.....

Attractive girls all hang out together, they like the attractive boys.....they all get together and befriend eachother and date in this inner circle....

The Unatractive guys want to date the attractive girls, but those girls want the attractive. The Unnatractive girls want to date the attractive guys, but the attractive guys want to date the attractive girls.

Attractive girls want Attractive guys

Attractive guys want Attractive girls

Unnatractive guys want Attractive girls, but thye dont want them.

Unnatractive girls want Attractive guys, but they dont want them.
