I have two cats and I have been living alone. Im going to get a roomate and Im not sure how my two cats will react. When someone comes over now, they hide and one of them gets pissed off and hisses at everyone. Do cats get used to new people?

i want to know how to make a binocular loupe. the distance of object is 29 cm. the magnification is 5x. the distance of image can be at 20 cm or more or less.
there are 2 or more lenses uses. i need their diapter or focal length and the distance between them. i may ot use mirror inside the tube and the length between the lenses can become more. that is ok or if someone knows hor to make prism for reducing the length of this magnification loupe it will be appreciated.

Ok,I'm bit of new to driving,but i did completely master it within days.Also my car has got much more smooth,so I prefer to drive in as high gear as possible e.g.even if the speed is 35 km/ph or so I drive in 3rd gear but the car does'nt give jerk then,it still goes smooth,likly in any other gear.
MY question is ,when driving,is it harmful for ur car to drive in high gear while it is still low in speed,also will it make effect on fuel efficincy,be negative or positive?

There was a news item in Canada where a woman left a new born baby outside a persons home in sub artic weather this weekend .The police are trying to locate the mother,and in a television interview the police officer said we are not goiing to slap handcuffs on her and arrest her.If this was a man who did the same thing the cops would lock him up and throw away the key.Why is there such gender bias and seemingly two sets or laws that apply whether one is a male and a female. My husband and I have been through alot due to my health and money problems, we dont have the intimacy we once had, he's says he doesnt care like he used to, and that our relationship is over, and he hasn't budged, and he has left (no longer than a day) 3 times in the last two months. We argue all the time but I know that I still want to be with him and I cant stand the thought of not seeing him walk through the door after work or seeing him laugh. I cant imagine going to bed alone every night and missing those times when we joke with each other but he doesnt show any sign that he's going to change his mind, we have been married now for 4 years and we have 2 kids, now both of us said that we wouldnt stay together for the kids because fighting is not a good thing for them. I am afraid that this time is real, and it is tearing my heart out. It started out the reason was because I havent been healthy since we've been married then it turned into us just not getting along.

I have the meanie fish in the only seperate tank I have. I realize now I made a big mistake in buying them.

From what I can see, I have two options. I can use aquarium salt or I can use Melafix (sp?).. Can I use either of these while my injured fish is in the 40 gal with my other fish? How long will he take to heal with either product?

I am 5'7 and 140lbs. I'm not really trying to loose any weight I just want to tone up my body so that it looks tight and not saggy and I start to turn into an old woman. ('I'll be 31 on Feb 27)

I have started light jogging and doing sit ups and have tried push ups but have discovered that I am not physically able to do one. I have started by doing about 5 stove push ups. (leaning against the stove and pushing up) and I have been doing a couple of coffee table push ups. (sitting with my back to the coffee table with arms behind me pushing up and down)

Is there anything else I could be doing to tone up my body? I don't have time to go to a gym so all of my exercises have to be done at home or outside.

I love him so much and hes been such a great dad and supporter to me. Our love was shaky at first it has grown 10 fold.We have been together 3 years. (known longer) He is the most important thing in the world to me besides our daughter.

I want to do something extra special. Hes funny smart. We have romantic dinners atleast 1 a month so i dont want to do that. We do all that stuff walks on the beach, massages. Im stuck. Any ideas would be great
