I worked in a store. I now work a very different job and I make a multiple of what I made then. I make more in real dollars than did people who did 10 or 20 years ago what I now do.
The people who work in the store now make only a little more, in real dollars, than I made then. Nobody that worked there when I did still does, and nobody that works there now will work there in ten years. They won't all make the same income 10 years from now, but they'll all make a multiple of what they make now, and if present economic trends continue, the ones who do what I do now will make more than I do now.

That's the "growing income gap" - it's primarily NOT between or among various permanent groups of people but rather the growing gap between what a person makes starting out and what he will make several years later - each generation makes more than the last and most of it comes at the height of your career.

Last week I attempted to take the antidepressant Lexapro, because it was recommended to me by the fine people here on Yahoo answers, and my doctor agreed it was a good option for me.
Well, last week I had many complications from it--dizziness and my entire body was stiff and swollen) and I even collapsed at work. As a result, my doctor took me off of the meds because she believes I was allergic to it.
This is my third attempt at taking an antidepressant (have tried prozac and zoloft in the past, with the same results). I suffer from depression and anxiety and was wondering if anyone out there knows and natural, herbal remedies or supplements that I can try to see if that will help and better, because I can't go on like this!

Im almost 18 weeks pregnant and have been getting quite a lot of discharge through this pregnancy is this quite normal. Cant remember getting it on my previous pregnancys.

Hi, my name is Van. I've been over-weight for about 3-4 years now. I am currently 6'0, 297 lbs. My dad usually takes me to play tennis on weekends so i sometimes loose weight, but its been winter for a while and i ain't doing no out-door activities. I keep telling myself i'll start tomorrow; then tomorrow just passes by and i just tell myself i can't do it. Can some1 help me? We got a brand new philips Surround sound last christmas 05' and just recently it will read "no disc" it plays some dvd's but not all, we bought a cleaner and it seemed to work but again it still says "no disc" sometimes..
When I called Phillips they said not under warrenty, 109.00 to fix. Said sounds like laser problems..
How can I fix it without paying 109.00 bucks.
And its surrpund sound so I can't just get another dvd player!

Hello all, I have never really bought a pair of jeans before-was always too FAT!! But now after much time I would like to, I usually buy clothing according to my dress size ie size 12 trousers ect. But I notice that jeans are usually listed by waist size. Now I have measured my waist but I just don't understand how you can buy a pair of jeans by this measurement?? Surely the hips are the deciding factor? I have a fairly small waist but hips are maybe the next size up so how on earth does that work?
**I am a UK size 12**

Which brands are considered a good fit? I'd like a really nice pair to go out in and dress up a bit. Thanks and sorry for wafflling!

My husband left me for someone else. Anyway, I have two kids. An old boyfriend contacted me and has visited town to see me three times. He says that he is separated from his wife. He lives out of town.
How can I tell whether this is true or not? I HAVE NOT slept with him and I know how men can be. What advice can you give?

I asked him why they split and he said that she wouldn't listen to him or do anything to make it better. He aked her to not let the kids sleep in the bed. He asked her to join a gym with him. He asked her to go away without the kids at least four weekends a year. He asked her to go out to dinner with him once a week. He asked her to kiss him hello and goodbye. She refused to do any of it. OK. May be true or not. That doesn't mean that he will divorce her, right?

Part of me says to just not date until someone shows me the divorce papers signed by the judge. But there are a lot of separated people out there. How do I tell when it is ringing true?

i have dry thick hair , i hv been using few products but it doesnt really matter coz if they r not blowdried they dont look shiny or soft.if i dont blowdry they look dull , and rough no matter what i use , serum , gel mousse etc.its hard to blow dry or straighten as i have loads of hair and i find it hard to blowdry on my own ?what do u do if u dont have any1 to blow dry or straighten ur hair and as i mention i have thick hair ,,,

First of all how is it possible that everybody can just sell their stocks at the same time?
Who is buying them?, when they know that they will probably drop even further or are worthless almost?
If everybody went to sell their US bonds tommorrow , who would buy them back? Where would they get the money?
Just the same as a company , how does that company pay back the money given to it by share holders if everybody wants to sell?
