Go to the IRS website and search for Free File. These are free online services that will file the return for you. There are several,but the primary thing to watch is to pair you tax situation with the correct software. For example, if you own a small business, the free file software is not programed to prepare the necessary returns.

Go to the AARP website and search for TaxAide sites near your zip code. The TaxAide counselors are trained to give tax advice and prepare returns for FREE, and many sites can also e-file them for free.
You don't have to be a senior citizen.
However, you may have to wait in line for a couple of hours, if the site does not take appointments.
