How about checking the financial disasters that have overtaken US Hospitals in areas close to the border because of sick illegal aliens that show up without any kind of health insurance or money.
In some areas (Tucson, AZ) they have had to drastically cut certain services because of this problem. When I worked out there it was common for a car to drive up, drop off a patient on the sidewalk and then race away leaving the patient there for the hospital to take care of. Many times they didnt speak English and had no ID. By law, the hospital had to care for them.
