Today I wanted to try to have a mystical experience. I learned a couple things.
1. Meditation works so easily when you just let things slip away from your mind instead of trying to force them out. Insence helps me relax so this is easier.
2. We can translate the mystical experience to every aspect of our lives if we take the time to do it.

Anyway, I lit some incense, ran a bath with some salts I made, turned on my oil burner too, burned some sage around my bath, them kind of dove in, at least as much as you can in a bathtub.
Anyway, the sun was shining in the room a bit through the open window, and it just felt perfect. The water was perfect temperature, there was a slight breeze. It was easy to slip into a meditative state.

It was easy to imagine I was in the ocean on a sunny day with sparkly water, and that mood was the mood of my experience.

I just let stuff come to me, but first I felt total unity. And I had these thoughts, like we're all on Earth and are going to die.

I watched a program on tonight in which a man and woman had a child. He then wants to become a woman. He's taking hormones, now has breasts and dresses like a woman. He wants to have the surgery some day to become a full woman. His wife wants to stay in the marriage and they both claim to still love each other. But the wife says she's not a lesbian. And the husband still wants to be with her. Shouldn't he want to be with men now that he's becoming a woman? And shouldn't his wife want to find a man because she's not attracted to women? The whole situation seems odd, can someone explain?

My youngest son age 7 loves to ride dirtbikes and races often, I love to watch a go to almost all of his races with my new wife and kids. however at times it bothers me that his step dad got him involved with riding and that when I am at his races I feel like that is him and my son's deal and he loves it so much that sometimes i also feel I cant offer something to top that with me. I get along great with the ex and the step dad but still have these feelings. also I think I hold back true excitement towards my son at his races because i dont want toshow the step dad that i like it. It is dfficult watching a relationship like that develop with the step dad. just wondering if anyone else is dealing with these feelings or if someone can help me to get rid of these feelings.

i use quite a bit black eyeline, and i try to take as much as i can off at night using nutragena makeup remover. and most of it looks like its off, basically almost all of it. but when i wake up, it looks like i didnt remove any. so is there some hiding in my eyes..? or what..? and i think it may be infecting my eye so i would loveee to find out how to get all this eyeliner off

I keep seeing all these articles and news clips of this "self-taught prodigy" named Akiane. She's been on Oprah and I believe Maury as well, and her art sells for thousands. Many of the subjects she supposedly paints are religious or symbolic of spiritualism in some way, and she claims to communicate with God.
There is little debate about it that I can readily find at the moment, most sites and articles praising her amazing talent. I've been thinking of emailing Snopes.com about it to see what they can find, and maybe put some people in their rightful places.
Another thing I find odd about this Akiane person is that her entire family was supposedly Atheist, home-schooled her all her life, and from what I can gather apparently kept her inside a plastic religion-free BUBBLE her whole life, never to venture to the outside world, let alone hear of this mysterious "God"-creature from anyone, oh no sir. (Yeah right.)
So any opinions or better yet valid debates on this?

Okay: so my mom was in a car accident, she had a shooting star graphic on her car and unfortunatly they called the car a total loss, more then anything she is upset that the 2006 honda is a loss along with her $1200 graphics that were down the side. So along with my sneaky antics of tryin to get the graphics redone for nothing, I am looking for a shooting star that starts out dark purple and fades into a lighter purple. (Or something along that line!) I would appreciate any ideas!!! Please only serious responses!! Thanks soooo sooo sooo much!

I've found these great-tasting 0 calorie packets of flavoring that one can put in their drink to have instant tea, or an energy drink or whatever. I think they're the greatest thing and have been having about three a day for the past week.

The tea has splenda in it, and the energy drinks have aspartame. Now, I know aspartame has to be bad for me, but I'm trying to only have one of those a day.

And, then I've also fallen in love with sugar-free hard candies, which also have Splenda in them.

Should I try to cut down on the artificial sweetener? Is there anything I can expect to happen if I keep on overdosing on this, like getting sick or something? I hear this stuff can increase appetite, but I don't have to eat just because I'm hungry. I count my calories, and make sure I don't go over.

I am not diabetic to my knowledge, so there's no medical reason why I'm doing this....
It's just the low-calorie thing I'm interested in.

I have a 15 gal. (plastic) aquarium, I wanted to purchase two Convict Cichlid, just researced them online and found out you have to keep the water temp. at 76-80 degrees.
I was looking at heaters in the pet store, and was not sure if I should buy one because I have a plastic aquarium.
