Is it possible you can find out what you were in a past life? I swear sometimes I think I was once a dog! I like when my girlfriend pets my hair and sometimes if I get tickled my foot shakes, yes I am a strange guy, but I've heard from friends Im loyal, ect. I just find it funny if I was dog in past life. Since my personality is so bizzare

It's not completely impossible, but some people have more trouble then others uncovering their past lives. It's also more common then you may think that people have non-human past lives (you should google the terms otherkin, and therian, just for starters).
There are many different techniques, such as meditation, astral projection, or dream work, but you have to work with whatever works best for you. It takes a lot of experimenting, overall.

the Hindus would say, yes, yess, but I would be inclined to suggest a more anthropological pursuit of your heritage. we are on average incarnated every 1000 years and usually alternate between male and female bodies. you may see your past lives as all may by simply living a pure life with no artificial ingredients such as drugs etc... we've traveled a long, long way from the human equivalent of today's dog standard! at that stage of our consciousness (and that is what its all about) we were pretty damn hairy plains roamers
