Politicians seem to be more interested in catering to special interests and I was just wondering what one person could do to effect positive change without relying on politics to do so. It seems to me that even if you try to take that route with the best intentions that you end up being corrupted in the end.

For those of you eligible and supporters of Bush and the Iraq war, what is your reasoning for not joining the military? I served in the first Gulf War. I am 38 and against the war. Now you know where I stand on this, I would like to know why you choose not to serve if you believe we are doing the right thing in Iraq. I am not addressing this to current mlitary personnel. I am also not addressing the Afghanastan theater. Legitimate answers please.

I had 2 out of 4 answers by what I assummed were conservatives. One was a good answer and appreciated. One was simply hilarious. Please read his answer:

I am supportive of my gov't, which has us at war whether I agree with it completely or not. I appreciate your service in the past for the US, but other than that, it doesn't matter what your opinion is. I don't need to sign up and fight because I want to do other things.

Priceless, huh? Let's try this question again.

the gas is new, the hoses are on, the and the battery is also new. known problems: the tank is internally rusted, and there is a small 1 inch spout running from the back of the tank that has a hose running from it to I don't know where. When I start it in Neutral, the choke is on, and it runs fine. The problem is when I rev it up, it bogs down. What can it be?

I saw a programme about a 1500 BC building in Ireland which was so built that the rising sun shone directly into the main cult place on 21st December. Well, I thought, it's not often you get clear skies there at that time of year! So it must have been a lot sunnier when it was built. But then, maybe it was just the prehistoric mindset: like those desert drawings in South America, maybe it wasn't important whether it could be seen by human beings, because it was a god's eye view that counted. What do you think?

We keep hearing that Castro is improving, and, in fact, on the road to recovery.

Is this true, or is this a bunch of lies for some reason.

His condition was described as grave only a few months ago. Now we see him standing, talking to Hugo Chavez.

One possibility that has been suggested is that the illness is being used as a publicity stunt, so that he can make some sort of triumpant return. Or, perhaps he is near death but those in power in Cuba want to have total control over the release of information.

It was reported that the CIA thought Castro was terminally ill. How often are they wrong in their intelligence information?

So what do you think is the truth about Castro's status? Is he dying? Or will be be back to lead Cuba again?

does a man's testacles hang out in utter vulnerability? The scientific reason is that the body temperature of most mammals is too high to produce semen. Why wouldn't an Intelligent Designer have simply waved his hand and changed the laws of chemistry so that the testicals could be on the INSIDE?

Not to mention, those useless man nipples.

My daughter is 9 months old and a couple of weeks ago she was on an antibiotic for an ear infection. Well, she developed a bad rash and it has came and gone. I have tried dr.smiths, desetin, and aveeno. I have let her sit in bath water, and run around naked. I just don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions because she is miserable and I feel so bad for her? She is going to the doctor tomorrow because I think she has another ear infection. I just need some suggestions to make her comfy until she sees the doc. Thanks

I happen to be a firm believer in NOT attending a church with wrong doctrinal beliefs. I don't believe in embracing error and singing Kumbaya and all the while closing my eyes to the Truth of God's Word. Am I talking about shunning and any such nonsense? NO! But I believe in strictly adhering to the Word of God and attending a church that does so as well. What are your thoughts on ecumenicalism? Do you feel it's setting the stage for the "One World Religion" spoken of in Revelation?
