The chief decides to give him a chance before they cook him and eat him. He says to the man 'you must go in the first tent and drink an entire vat of malt whisky, not a drop must be left. Next you must go into the second tent where there is a lion in considerable pain with a thorn in it's paw. You must remove it and gain the lions respect. Finally you must go into the third tent and shag my virgin daughter three times. If you can do all of this you are free to leave.
The man goes to the first tent, drinks an entire vat of whisky. Not a drop was left.
He then goes to the second tent and all you could hear was roaring and screaming. He finally comes out of the second tent and says 'right now where's this lion with a sore paw!'

Is there any 'proof' of Christianity other than a 2000 year old 'chinese whisper'? I am looking for any actual proof that the Christian God exists.

There are various studies available in T.A. softwares to anticipate trend reversals / continuations. I am however not certain how the time to hit target is judged?

I'm starting to doubt it. I'm a boomer and in many ways pretty childish.

I find this to be a growing phenomenon on yahoo Q&A. I'm not sure what we should do...should we offer cream pies they could hurl at each other? Perhaps a christian cage match?

It just seems like everytime a "person of god" gets mad at another "person of god" then they start telling each other to repent.

Meaning if people were to stop their biased hatred for other religions and teamed up to objectively try and find which religion is right.

I am studying portuguese in a 1st yr. level class at a univ. I went to Brazil nearly 30 years ago as an exchange student, so my spoken port. is not too bad, especially once i've been speaking it for awhile - once i warm up. I am taking the class because i want to learn the proper grammar. Most people were nice, but some made fun of me, as some of the grammar in my question wasn't quite correct. It was a combo of a little carelessness, tiredness and forgetfulness and a little bit of not knowing verb tenses or correct words. Language changes over time with the intro of pop culture and slang, so i'm not really up-to-date. But i think it was a good effort on my part and i know it wasn't all wrong.

My question is, how would you react to someone who was from another country, trying to learn english and asked a grammatical question. Would you be nasty with snide remarks, or would you be helpful? What kind of person are you?

It happens after I've been up and moving around for a while, and wont stop. Its getting bad, and I don't know what it might be. Modesty aside, I am a size DD, and my ma' says that's what's causing it...but wouldn't that make both my shoulderblades hurt? Any suggestions? And please don't say 'go see a doctor' or something like that.

I can't go see a doctor, we...don't have health insurance. Any other suggestions? Maybe food, sleeping ways, or hell even BRA tips? Something, anything that might work, its getting really bad. And its only after I've been moving around for a few minutes to a few hours. At the end of the day, when I lay down, there's like this pressure being lifted off my back, and its almost painful.

Or is that normal? Meh...I don't know. All I DO know, is that my shoulderblade hurts, I can't sleep and I'm sick of hearing chest jokes. And lame ones at that.

I was driving home, and ran over what appeared to be a human body that was in the middle of the road. My guess is that someone placed a dummy there, probably kids, to scare people into thinking they ran over someone.

Well, it certainly scared me! I drove back to find it was only a dummy, but it was horrifying!

What is wrong with the person who did this - I mean, how do they even think to do something like this?
