I did a 20 mile walk-a-thon for March of Dimes many years ago, much of which I jogged. I added almost $3000 to the total, which I was proud of. That should have been enough for one day. But, nooooo... some friends said lets go bowling that night. I felt fine, tired, but ok.. so I went bowling. It wasn't till the next day... Just the memory is enough to make me weak. Ugh.. never been so sick in my life as the week after that.
But, I'd do another marathon like that anytime. Just stay the heck out of the bowling alley! Besides I'm 20+ years older now too.
