I find this to be a growing phenomenon on yahoo Q&A. I'm not sure what we should do...should we offer cream pies they could hurl at each other? Perhaps a christian cage match?

It just seems like everytime a "person of god" gets mad at another "person of god" then they start telling each other to repent.

I am neither a pagan nor an atheist, but this country is largely Christian and to some extent you will have to tolerate what will very likely not change. Try to let it go or else you will be aggravated all of the time. By not being judgmental like they are, you will set a tremendous example.

I'm a Christian, but can I join you?

It drives me crazy when people are like REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS NEAAAAAR!!!

Dude, chill the *heaven* out.

I apologize for any time you've had to deal with someone like that, and ASSURE YOU that that's not what Christianity is about. Really, Bible-beating and WILD STORIES OF DAMNATION AND HEEEELLLFAAAHRE are mockable offenses.

I don't understand why people think that doing anything like that will bring other people to God, or that it's what God wants them to do!

Christianity is about love, plain and simple. Sorry about all the crazies.

Cream pies would be a lot better than the bombs, rockets, and artillery shells religionists usually throw when they start arguing about whose god is better. Would be messy but everyone would live.

It is not up to us to do anything. As an ex-Christian, I can relate to where they are coming from and I find great amusement in their predicament. That is one of the things that keeps drawing me back to the Religion & Spirituality Q&A. I try not to judge, but sometimes ... gosh, it is hard!

Make sure you have a clear path to the exit -- you'll need it when the "repent" exchange gets old and things begin to escalate. If you don't believe me, read history.

To be honest with you... Why do anything? I mean, why would a pagan or a atheist even care what a christian(s) talk about? Why care when you don't believe the same things in the first place?
