If you are speaking of a particular software package, I don't know. But if it is a general question, the answer is surely subjective. Each stock behaves in a unique manner and there is no way (no software or anything) to be exact or near exact on target time tables. It comes down to a lot of instinct in the end.

Yes, you can generalize and say "1 month" or "3 months", but that is a rough shot in the dark. But if you are looking at certain chart formations, reasonable time frames can be developed. I.E. if a bull flag developed for 3 months, the target is usually 3 months.

Just remember, don't limit yourself with targets. Move equally with the underlying until it is no longer favorable and jump ship.
