I was driving home, and ran over what appeared to be a human body that was in the middle of the road. My guess is that someone placed a dummy there, probably kids, to scare people into thinking they ran over someone.
Well, it certainly scared me! I drove back to find it was only a dummy, but it was horrifying!
What is wrong with the person who did this - I mean, how do they even think to do something like this?

sound like a bad prank, sure it was some teens catching it on a cam. watch for it on ebay sure they will try sell the video, you know who it was..

I would have been horrified too - it was prob a stupid joke, but really it isn't funny because for all they know you could have had a close family member die in accident, and be traumatized by this incident. People who are saying this isn't a big deal - it is, and they would have been just as scared as you I'm sure, unless they are used to running what they think to be human bodies over in the road - IDK? - Also if its dark out, and something is laying in the road I think that would make it pretty hard to see - At least you are a good person that went back, and not just took off - I would've called the police, but just be greatful no one is really hurt.

I think that's dummydysmorphic disorder.
Haha...um...relax. It was just a practical joke...kids do stuff like that all the time. Or maybe it was just an accident. It could've just fallen out the back of a car or something! For goodness sake, there's no need to get all worked up about it, thinking someone's escaped from a mental institute and put it there!

That's so dangerous! You could have been killed if you had a roll over. Call the police and report it. These persons should be stopped and told how dangerous that prank was. You could have gotten damage to your car. They probably won't stop until someone gets hurt or killed. You can prevent that from happening to someone else by calling the police now.

you didn't see it laying in the middle of the road until you ran over it? cuz it didn't just run out there, right? maybe it was a sign that you should pay attention to the road.
