i am a college student and it is basically impossible to go to college and not drink alcohol. i used to take the injections but now i am on some type of pill. i want to know what happens when someone with chronic hepatitis B drinks? please serious answers only. a in depth answer would be really appreciated

what ever happened to good movies geting the oscars?

in 2000 Green Mile got robbed of its oscars by a terrible movie called American Beauty.. That movie deserved nothing but rasberry's or whatever those are called they give to the worst movies.

Since then we continue to see nothing but Soap Opera type movies geting oscars.

Chicago was another OK movie but not worth the oscars it got.

and this year again not a thing on the list I would give the oscarsd to either.
I could name at least a dozen better movies from 2006 then those nominated.

Why cant we get back to where oscars are given to the right movies?

Iam a young business man willing to search the other part of the world like Asia for some items that may be cheaper over in those ends. With particular interest in Cell phones and Ipods. I do not intend to buy anything immitation or counterfeit. Originals and all brand news. My question is this. Is it against the law (Illegal) to import an original Nokia, Motorola or samsung phone or an Ipod from another country into the USA? If you have an authentic information please I need it.

I ask this question because I was taking a few college classes before and the work was just too overwhelming for me. I just could'nt make it in the classes. I have been recently thinking about going back to college and giving it another try again because I feel without a college degree, you're really not going to make it far in life. It seems that 'gasolinera' is becoming the more common word for "gas station / filling station" in Spanish speaking countries. Yet, a book on Puerto Rican Spanish I once read published in 1964 lists 'bomba' for Colombia and 'bomba de gasolina' for Puerto Rico. 'Bomba' can also mean "pump" in Spanish. I was wondering how often the word (bomba de gasolina) is still used by Puerto Ricans? Is it considered just slang? Nowadays, I see Puerto Rican writers and bloggers on the Internet using 'gasolinera' or 'estación de servicio' almost exclusively. Thanks for any help and information. Really appreciate it!

You know the music you hear in the supermarkets like Vons, Ralphs, and Big Lots etc. Does anyone know where that comes from???, who is in charge of it???? it is Soft Rock, it's not on regular radio like KOST. It would have said something, there is no disk jockey(except for store commercials) But honestly does anyone even pay attention to it? I just noticed it today because my son said something about it and I said huh what music? but he noticed the song "Bad Day" or something like that.

My daughter, who is almost 8, cries every night at bedtime. She says it is because she is afraid. I have tried everything. She has two night lights, and I leave on the hall light. I even moved my bed into the room right next to hers, and leave both our doors open.

The only way she doesn't cry is if she sleeps with me, or knows that I am in my room all night.

Some background: We moved into this new apt. back in July. She always slept with me before. But, now my fiancee' lives with us...so that would be very crowded. She really has gone through several changes this past year.

IHowever, I am at my wits end. I do believe that she really is afraid. But, what else can I do? I don't want to go to bed every night at nine when she does!!!

How can I keep this kid in bed and quiet?

Has anyone had any experience with sibling abuse? For those who do not know it is where one sibling (brother or sister) is abusive to the other siblings. Similar I guess to child abuse but performed by a sibling, not a parent.
