Cade is a very unique name, I haven't heard of it before so maybe a lot of other people haven't either. I think you should call him by his name, Cade, that way he will be proud to have such a different name when he's older just in case some kids make fun of it. Love that name by the way.

Cade sounds like Kate with a cold. Probably CJ would be easier .... Cade is an interesting name though, and it probably depends on how it goes with his surname.

"Cade" is awesome. Kinda unique, but not weird at all! "C.J." could be anyone... Charles John, Chase Jackson... whatever. That's a name that sounds cool now and will sound good when he's an adult. Nice choice, IMHO.
BTW, my son's name is "Colin" and I either call him "C" or "Poo-poos" (don't worry, he's only 1-1/2!!!). The nickname will just happen!
