I have a feeling that they are MAGNIFYING the disasters and omitting the progress and successes regarding our side in order to help hype the sensationalism. After all, what helps to sell the story!

Due to who we as America are dealing with over there(insurgents) AT THIS POINT- alot of them are capable of gleening "the news" that we are bombarded with daily(the world has gotten smaller in this area).

I would think that the insurgents are a clever lot and realize that this kind of lopsided coverage is to their advantage.

What we may be doing in the long run is shooting ourselves in the foot!-Don't forget about the 3000 lives lost in NY in a matter of hours.

There is this guy I work with (different departments) but we've only talked once but when we did he would keep nervously laughing. Hes really shy, but I always catch him looking at me, should I go up and talk to him?

I was part of a team of contractors working at this large company. One of our team had left about half a year before to take a job at a different company.

Anyhow this guy who left was back in town and we decided to go out to dinner. The people going were me (contractor), my team lead (contractor), the guy who left (former contractor), and our project boss (regular employee).

All of us knew each other on a very friendly basis. My question is this. Near the end of the dinner, My team lead stated that he would pay but ONLY for the project boss and the guy who had left leaving me to pay for myself.

I know there are other things that maybe come into play like contractors having "per diems" and so but I was silently fuming and thought it was embarrassing even. I just thought it was wrong to say you would pay for everyone at a table except for one person regardless.

Last night my girlfriend and I were talking on the phone about all sorts of thing. However when I started talking about the girl who works where I work getting fired, she acted as if I liked her, I got a little cranky and said " No, and it is a little annoying you seem to think I like every single girl there is" normally I do not talk back to her, get pissed at her like that, however I had been a bit tired of her thinking I did. I don't blame her though. Well, she said " Well thats because you are a liar.." See.. that is my problem. I do lie and fib, and I hate it.. I really really want to stop. You see not counting her I have had three serious relationships in which all I have fell in love but, been screwed over and hurt. I never cheated on them, but in between those three I was a man whore, something I am really not proud of anymore, actually very ashame.
