I have a feeling that they are MAGNIFYING the disasters and omitting the progress and successes regarding our side in order to help hype the sensationalism. After all, what helps to sell the story!

Due to who we as America are dealing with over there(insurgents) AT THIS POINT- alot of them are capable of gleening "the news" that we are bombarded with daily(the world has gotten smaller in this area).

I would think that the insurgents are a clever lot and realize that this kind of lopsided coverage is to their advantage.

What we may be doing in the long run is shooting ourselves in the foot!-Don't forget about the 3000 lives lost in NY in a matter of hours.

I think that the media is doing more harm. They only talk about how many soldiers have die. They do not talk about the good that we are doing over there. They do not talk the people who can now walk to street with little to no fear. Most of the reporter just stay in their hotel room and only come out when they hear a boom. I wish that the media would get out of the war and the armed forces do their job.

I think the media is doing more harm than we really think. I mean, who really needs to know exactly how the peoples were killed and little details like that? The media has gone to extremes in reporting all the car bombs and such, and with all the negative news coming in, they only make the hate and prejudice towards Middle Eastern peoples even more intense.

It appears that the news media is not going outside the "green zone" for fear of losing their life, and relying on Iraqi "reporters" to feed lies to the regular media. They are only going after blood and guts stories and not the good there is going on there

They do harm in the attempt to sensationalize everything in order to improve their ratings. We get more editorials than hard news!
