I have a four-month-old daughter. With the exception of rice cereal at night, she is exclusively breast-fed. She went from only getting up twice during the night to nurse to now waking four to five times during the last three weeks. Needless to say I am exhausted trying to keep up with this. I asked our family doctor what happened. She said to wait a couple weeks and if this routine doesn’t subside to start feeding her rice cereal before bed. I started her on cereal one week ago and no change. Our little girl has no problems going to sleep it’s just staying asleep. She takes two three-hour naps during the day. I’ve tried not letting her sleep for longer than two hours during her naps, no change. I’ve tried putting a shirt I’ve worn that has my sent in her bassinette while she sleeps, no change. I am running out of ideas. The only thing I haven’t tried is letting her cry herself back to sleep when she wakes up. I’ve been told this works- but I really really hesitate to try this.

Help I need advice! MY 6 yr old son is in Kindergarden and is having behavior problems bad. Before today I was told about some incidents at school that happened but was not linked to my son recently we found out that he is bulling other kids to lie about things he has done and say they did them. Yesterday the principle found out that my son is peeing all over the bathroom floor and sometimes pooping on the floor. He lies all the time and I cant seem to get the truth out of him. I just dont know what to do about this I am taking all his special privialges away and not allowing his friends to come over after school until we start to resolve this problem but what else can be done. I dont want my son to be the trouble maker and to lie all the time. Im so worriedany advice would be wonderful.

Seems like every time I debate a Lib and the issue of unemployment comes up, he or she insists that the unemployment rate doesn't count people who have been unemployed for over a year because their benefits have run out. The BLS website explains quite clearly how unemployment is tallied and it has nothing to do with benefits. If you're out of work, ready to work and looking for work, you count as unemployed, even if you've been unemployed for eight years, regardless of whether you qualify or ever qualified for benefits - it has nothing to do with benefits.

I explain this to these Libs and they insist that the BLS is lying because it's "part of the Bush administration." The BLS is part of the Census Bureau - if you're not going to believe them, what will you believe? Do they think the National Weather Service is lying about the barometric pressure at Logan Airport?

I'm attending a community college. This is my second semester. I'm 19, brunette, 5'9", and fairly attractive. I am really shy and I don't speak a lot. For some reason I've picked up on dislike from people around me at school. This may sound paranoid, but it's getting somewhat obvious. People stare at me all the time. This girl beside me in History kept stealing glances at me today. It's stuff like this all the time. The worst is from guys. I've almost come to the conclusion that guys aren't nice to women period. Why do guys have such attitudes towards me? I catch people glaring at me or if I volunteer anything class, there's a ripple of laughter or some whispers. I DON'T GET IT! I don't say anything dumber than most of the other students. In fact, most of what I say is pertinent to the discussion! So could someone please tell me why I am having such a problem with other people. I know I'll never have a bf or get married....

Okay so i was reading this book about this young woman whose best friend takes a trip to Africa. In Africa they proform a ritual. Its now called Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). I was told that this is proformed for young woman to deem them clean. If this isn't proformed then the woman cannot marry and is considered a castout. I couldn't believe it. I thought it kind of crazy. Although I can only speak for me and I am optimistic, I think this is really weird. I've never heard of this until now. And never thought of myself as someone who saw one side of something. What do you think about this "ritual"? What would you do if someone told you that you had to do something like that what would you say? I just wanted to know, I thought it kind of intresting (For lack of a better word). I recently became a counselor for couples therapy and amazingly all the couples that I see, it is always the Chick that sets the appointments. Heres my situation. I am 20 years old and very active. I'm 160 lbs and have only about 9% bodyfat, however it seems like its all in my abdominal section. When I workout and do abdominal exercises I feel the burn in my abs only for the first set of each ab exercises, then I only feel it in my back, legs, or feel nothing at all if i do another set. Is this normal or am i wrong in my form or something. Thanks
