hi.. have 2 boxers and both have had bad spots in the same place as u mentioned... i dont think they were as young as 6 mnths but they all mature at different ages (had a puppy who was larger than the average boxer at 6 mnths) if your worried see the vet but i think it is hormonal spots ... good luck

Yep-they can develope acne. Feeding and watering in plastic bowls can be a cause.Keep the chin clean and dab with peroxide. If you are using plastic bowls switch to either glass, ceramic or stainless.

If your dog eats out of a plastic bowl, it's possible that your dog has an allergic reaction that can look quite similar to acne. I've heard it called plastic dish dermatitis. Switch your bowls to stainless steel or ceramic and the acne should go away. If it doesn't please visit your vet.

well my advise would be to take your puppy to see his/her vet , all dog´s at this age pick up one thing or another , as they just think that what´s in front of them is for eating, best to make sure , at least it will put your mind at rest , & keep your puppy happy & healthy good luck

My ten month old female is just coming out of "season" and she has a zit on her snout. My hubby popped it (ewwwe) and it's healing up.
