1. 1998 Daytona 500: Earnhardt wins the 500 has to be #1.
2. 2004 Daytona 500: Jr takes Daytona
3. 2002 Daytona summer race/2003 Daytona 500: Jr and Michale Waltrip each get a chance to cheer at Daytona as the finish to the 02 500 was overshadowed by Senior's passing.
4. The Bristol race where Terry Labonte crossed the finish line sideways

I would have to agree with you on this, however I would put the first ever Daytona 500 (at current facility) on the list. with 60 or more cars in the starting field at number 1, and remove the 1992 Hooters 550 and add the 2003 Dodge Dealers 500

Just a little reply to dodge69mopars answer. First off...Losing Dale Earnhardt was a tragic and very sad loss...I dont even see how that could be called one of the greatest races of all time...second how can you even call yourself a NASCAR fan if you cant get the damn date right. IT WAS IN 2001 WHEN DALE SR. DIED....get your facts right.
