Don't take this the wrong way, girls are SO much better off now than the were 50+ years ago

k, am I the only person who feels this way.

Nowadays they act like all girls have to break free of the stereotypical girl and all the girls movies show the girl being all tough and athletic. She hits a baseball really far and surprises the boys then eats a big triple cheeseburger and all the feminin girls are all snotty and mean and evil. But what if a girl (like me) just naturally is small and weak and can't hit base balls and likes to bake cookies. Does that make her a disgrace to modern women??

We have been married over eight years, but he has never taken me anywhere or made time for me. He does not bother to even show me affection. He told me that I am lazy even though I keep the house very clean and watch his emotionally disturbed daughter by another marriage that I have taken under my wing like she is my own. He comes home to hot home cooked meals. I am a really good cook. I treat her like my own. He never has any compassion for me when I am sick and avoids me whenever he gets a day off. I am still attractive, but he oggles every female he can in my presence. I am so tired of this but I want my marriage to work because I have invested so much time, money, effort and I really love my husband and step daughter. I have stood by him when he was very ill and through so much, I just don't know how to get my needs met? It seems not matter what I do I just can't please him. No matter how good I look, no matter how hard I work! No matter how much I contribute! What should I do?

I am teaching right now in 4th grade and have a student who LOVES to read. He will read any chance he gets- what a problem, right? Well, the main problem is that his reading will occur during math, cursive, transition periods, etc. He gets absorbed into his books and only comes back to reality after I call his name 3 or 4 times. He is doing fine in these other subjects, and I don't mind that he reads except that he never finishes work unless I stand right by him. And when we do cooperative groups, he complains and a few times has gotten tears in his eyes. He is only 9 and I want him to continue his love for reading, but he is missing out on the social interaction, and I fear that he will have problems in his future, especially since he is a lot smaller than his peers. He gets along with his classmates, but it takes effort to get him away from his book and talk with his peers. Any suggestions?

I bought a Durabrand HT-400 Digital Home Theater at a pawn shop and it didn't come with instructions on how to hook up the subs. I got all the satillite speakers hooked up fine, cause it was pretty much hook red to red and black to black. I just bought a subwoofer from the same pawn shop (cause it was the cheapest one I've found and had a built in amp). But anyhow, my question is, how do I hook the sub to my system? It has the input and output red and black jacks in the back, along as one other source of connection. The other connection is kinda like what ya usually see on tvs where ya hook up to video games to. But I don't know if my system has that kind of connection. If it doesn't whats the best way to hook it up? Any help would be great. And if anyone has a site that has the owners manual would be great if ya could let me know.
Thanks again ya'all.

I am planning on moving to Ottawa, Ontario. I am only concerned about real estates. Does anyone know what is the average house price for a 2-3 bedroom in Ottawa (regular, fairly new house, maybe between 1-10 years old house) ? The closest to downtown the better.. but even 15-20mins drive from downtown will do... anyways, just so i can have a price range...Thanks a lot !
