This afternoon a friend e-mailed me a link to Neighborhood watchdog. Its a web site to tell you about sex offenders in your neighborhood. While seaching around I found several people way to close to my house for comfort. What has me very freaked out and concerned for my 4 year old, is that one of the people I found happens to be a friend of mine and my husband. Needless to say he never mentioned haveing been convicted of "lude acts with a child under the age of 14!" What I really want to know is "what do I say to this person?" I dont want him anywere's near my daughter and I dont care what the curcumstanse of the conviction were! I just dont know how to handle this... please help!

If the Jews are strict monotheists, and the first Christians were Jews, doesn't it also follow that they were Strict Monotheists...?

Especially considering that there wasn't a conflict about who being what in the Godhead in the early Church until after the Apostles were gone...?

I have a laptop and my itunes library is on it and I want to back it up with a desktop computer that will be designated for my Itunes back up only. I have set up a workgroup with the laptop and the desktop on it and I can view both computers through the laptop. What and how do I transfer my Itunes library on to the desktop computer from my laptop for backup? I know I can just put the Itunes music file to the desktop computer from the laptop but I want to be able to add new music files to the desktop each time. By dragging and dropping the itunes files to the desktop computer it will just replace the itunes files on the desktop, in turn deleting the Itunes files already on the desktop computer. Is there a way to avoid this? Is there a way to just "add to" instead of overwriting what is already on the desktop computer?

i am a car dealer. i had a company named 'XYZ' helping me do car loans. i would give XYZ all the customer info and sales contract. they would procure loans for these customers and bring me a check from the lender. checks were made out to my company named ABC. XYZ just before they closed their office deposited 2 of my checks into their own account without ever telling me and dissapeared. later i found out that the bank manager had okayed for these checks to be deposited in the XYZ account. this happened about 17 months ago. what is the statute of limitations for embezzlement? can i sue the bank manager or the bank for not protecting my money since i have an account with the same bank. Can i ask the XYZ guys and the branch manager to pay me that money or i will go to the cops? can i ask them for more than the value of the checks as punitive damages? the bank said to make a police and they will give me the money but i feel they should pay more for their manager's role of screwing me.

I have a long haired tabby, Tiger that is orange and white and he will be 4 in April. We adopted him from the pound when he was about 4 months old. Then we have a solid black medium haired cat named Jewel that adopted us by showing up begging at our front door in September last year, I am guessing that she is about 2 years old or less.
