Yes but I would be hating it after awhile. I don't eat very much as it is but I could eat less and survive. I have enough pasta and other items in the house that I could live off of if I needed to. I probably couldn't go much longer than that unless I was only eating something small every few days. It would turn into slow starvation after awhile.

Oh, I don't have any water stored other than some liquids in the refrigerator. I'd need running water to survive right now...

I can survive if I have enough inventory of foods and drinks or vitamines or supplement at home for one month without going to a shop
But if I have not any food and drink or vitamines any more during a month and without going to a shop I will die.

Sure. You stock up on canned goods, rice, noodles, dry beans, powdered milk, potatoes, lots of meat/poultry for the freezer, cheese, some fresh, some canned fruit& veggies. Freeze your supply of bread and lunchmeat as well as any leftovers that may be around for more than a few days. bake all your own cookies and cakes.
We used to shop only twice a month for a very, very long time. Took a lot more meal planning in advance, though. Sure saved a ton of money on impulse buying!

If I bought a generator and carefully planned my menus I beleive I could. But as for right now, I don't have the generator and haven't stocked up my stuff. I think about this all the time and I have lists of stuff I should have in case something should happen. Everytime I get like water and store it, I'll use it then never replenish it.I know that I should recirculate my canned goods and I do that. (Use the older ones and replenish with new)This week I'll try again.

I have enough food in my pantry to last for a month. I wouldn't want to do this but my main problem with this would be water. I usually keep 5 full bottles of water and might end up having to boil the well water to drink. I live in an area in Costa Rica where we could have an earthquake/terremotto, tsunami, or flooding with bridges out and yes, it's always better to be prepared. I think I'll check on the water situation tomorrow and restock. Thanks for the reminder of this necessity.

Defintely not. I have a tiny kitchen so I can only store 2 weeks food MAX in my cupboard and fridge freezer. Even so for the second week I would be surviving on beans and questionable tubs from the back of the freezer.

Of course, I live in Vancouver, nobody grocery shops here, it is far too expensive. I'd live on fifty cent pizza slices, vegan sushi and coffee.

Unless you mean your question in a "woodsperson" sort of way. In which case, yes, I have killed my own dinner on several occasions, and am quite handy with a gun. You would have to be an idiot to starve in the Canadian wilderness.
