Waited out the front of my the store where she worked (she worked on counter) and asked a stranger to go inside and ask for her, and hand her a wrapped gift, which was an empty vase. Then every five to ten minutes I'd ask a stranger to go into the store and ask for her, and hand her a rose and a note, and tell her not to read the notes until she has them all. I got five roses delivered to her, which she was placing in the vase, then I gave her the sixth one when the store was empty, with her final note. The message was personal, but basically telling her how much I love her, how special she is, etc. Then because she was at work I told her I'd talk to her tonight, and left, with her workmates either jealous or confused, but the store nicely decorated with a vase full of half dozen roses.

My ex, he surprised me on New Years Eve! I hate New Years Eve and Valentines' Day, b/c I have never been able to be with my b/f on those days. Well on that particular New Years Eve, he was in Missouri visiting his friend from high school, he lived in Mississippi at the time, and he said that if he could get a car to rent that he was going to come and see me. You see we met on-line, and had never met before, in person. I told him that I couldn't wait and that I wanted to see him really bad. He called me in a few hours and said that they wouldn't let him b/c of his age, he wasn't over 25. I thought that was stupid. Well, I had already told him that I was going to spend the weekend here at home with my mom and celebrate it with her, instead of going to my friends house. My friend wouldn't take no for an answer. So they came up and got me, and we were watching T.V. waiting for her girls to fall asleep. I get a call, he is wondering where I am, b/c he is at my moms'! He had drove all the way to my moms' then all the way to my friends house, that's 4 hours of driving, then after hours of partying we drove back to my moms, that's another hour. I will never forget that! I will always love him, even though I can't be with him now.

My first Christmas alone in a new apartment. I had no decorations, no tree, nothing and no money to buy any because I had just gotten a new apartment. He came to my apartment, unannounced with his brother, carrying a large tree, a box of ornaments, garland, the works! Even an angel for the top of the tree.

I would surprise my ex-girlfriend with dinner EVERY night while she was at work. I'd also have flowers sent to her office.

I know that this might not be considered all that sweet, but considering this woman had never had a guy do that kind of stuff for her, it was the least I could do.

I was really sick once with the flu and he came to my house brought some movies, bought me new PJ's and a new pillow and blanket and stayed up the whole night with me :)~ Sounds simple but it was really sweet b/c he was supposed to be out of town for the week and he surprised me :)

With my ex-girlfriend. We would drive up to a town called Chimney Rock in the mountains of N.C. where we'd walk and hold hands. Then we'd stop and sit down on one of the benches and hold eachother. I won't ever forget those times.

....I miss her :(

one weekend my boyfriend and 2 of our friends planned on going out to this bar to hang out and spend time together.. sort of like a double date..

i was REALLY looking forward to it, but unfortunately my boyfriend got sick.. he told me that he didn't think he'd be able to go and i was really disappointed..but he told me i should go anyway. in an effort to get him to come.. i told him i wasn't going to go without him.. he insisted that i get dressed and go.. but i didn't..

he told me he was going to take a nap and he'd call me when he woke up and if he was feeling better he'd come.. a few hours later he called me and confirmed that he wasn't going.. i was upset, but understanding since i was the one who got him sick.. and told him that i was just going to eat dinner at home and we could talk on the phone... then he insisted that i go outside to look at the stars because he was at home looking at the stars and wanted us to look at them together... i went outside and there he was with a dozen roses.. sick and all..

i was thrilled :D very upset because now we were going to be late because i wasn't dressed.. and i hit him in the arm and pouted for a little while.. but i was thrilled :D
