Flyer with 2 for one offers?
Flyer with free bottle of wine with every 3 course meal for 3?
Free bus from the exhibition to the restaurant?
If you are using one of the other vendors' technologies then you could do a joint promotion / case study on how it benifitted you.
Food samples (check that the exhibition allows this)

Promoting a new restaurant at a tech fair is probably not the best use of advertising money. People attending are going to see technology related exhibits, and they are often from out of town if it is a major exhibition. So your target market is smaller. You should set up a small food kiosk, as people do get hungry. (a reasonable price should be charged) Approach exhibitors and ask if you could add a small leaflet, advertising your restaurant, and perhaps a coupon for a free entree, 50% off etc to their information packets. Or if there is a charge to get in, buy some tickets and advertise in the local paper that 2 free tickets are included with the purchase of lunch etc. Or have someone circulate the show handing out pens and pads advertising your restaurant. Or plastic bags with advertising on them, for people to carry phamplets in etc.Whatever you do limit the amount you invest as far as money goes. It is not the best place to attract customers.

if its a technology exhibition so its better to confront people with something very different ,it depends on how much money they want to spend !!!
for example decorating the space of restaurant can be very special with different shades of silver surfaces and some mysterious blue and purple lights , waiters must wear different i have a very nice detail for that one imagine with suits and optics (like typical engineers appearing they must be really handsome) , and its better to have a different menue with creative names and design for example : 21th centry soup or High tech steak with 4.5cm3 mashroom sauce ....
also you can use a very special music and have some unique design for tables and flowers everything is important even the plates and knives and forks ....you can have strange design for naps and even have some amazing notes on the table or have a good sponsership from the same exhibition for tables ...if u like i can give u more detail about all of them :) its my pleasure

Offer free samples or "goody" bags depending on the type of restaurant (cookies or small deserts)... Show a sample menu....
Other offers you can do are if applicable: wave take out fees for local orders to businesses and hotels when said where they found you (limited time of course).
Also, depending on what you would like to give... for example like dinner for two drawing....have people fill out a name, address, email, (what ever you prefer) or drop business cards... This is a perfect way to send letters of new specials either via Internet, fax, or mail to those local customers.
hope it helps...

You can serve finger food or get a nice wrapper to wrap some candies and tag your biz card onto it, and then serve everyone in the forum.
